GOF breaks records in IMAX theatres

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire: The IMAX Experience was released in 66 IMAX theatres across North America on Friday, and pulled in a massive $1.06 million in its opening weekend. With a per-screen average of $44,000, it shattered previous records by more than 30% and also set new single-day records for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

In other box office news, GOF earned an impressive $8 million in conventional theatres yesterday, bringing its domestic total to $110.7 million.

there is this I-MAX theater here in INDIA ( Chembur ) it was the world's biggest dome i saw GOF there and can u believe it .. it was house full.. i always hav a gr8 experience there.. jus gr8.. it's like u r in a sleeping position and the effect u get in the dome is jus gr8.. 😃 😃
