Holland didn't know what hit them!!!

wow!!wow!!wow!!this is the only reaction I have for yesterday's game...Russia were MINDBLOWING to say the least!!!what speed, what tactics!👏👏..try as they may, the Dutch could just not keep up with them especially from the 2nd half onwards...no one ever even thought that Russia would be going on to the Semis leaving the Dutch far behind....the Russians were terrific in their play & teamwork👏👏

I know definetly, Holland were quite poor compared to the previous matches.

Hiddink got the Russia tactics absolutely correct and this Andrey Arshavin dude looks like an awesome player 😃

yah Anshu...u know I never thought Russia would play like this....everyone had completely written them off!!....my friends tho were even saying that the game would be a walkover coz Holland would win....this shows that you can never know what happens next in soccer!! 😉

they have a (...) coach like v. Basten and Russia has a fabulous coach like G. Hiddink 😛
you know why v. Basten lost? he's so stupid to let Boulahrouz play (who's just born daughter died 😭 ), and then he removes Kuyt (a fabulous player), then he lets play Affelay (who always plays with right) at the left side, and v. Persie (who always plays with left) at the right side. They just couldnt manage to play the ball right (which was possible if v. Basten used his mind). There was just one thing the Russia were afraid of, and that were the places in front towards the goal (but how is that possible if holland has a stupid coach like v. Basten who doesnt even make a proper, strong formation???)
so phew, finally i could just throw out my frustrations 😆

good luck russia. great players like arshavin!!! and also important an coach with brains 😆

@ ducky_euro: nah van Baasten is a good coach...he got the tactics in the games against France and Italy COMPLETELY correct 😃....but he also plays Kuyt in the wrong position 🤔 Kuyt is a striker, whats he doing on the right 😕 😆 Hmm and yesh I heard about that Boulahrouz thing..quite sad really, am sure Heittinga could have played instead of Boularouz. 😳
