Melord (the Junta)
Here is my argument!
THE FACT: My respected colleague(Salil) has before starting his argument presumed that Paresh has good chances to win...which strengthens my case.
THE ARGUMENT: Ditto but one addition... a playback singer cum presenter too.
THE TEST : The test has already been done since Paresh has already been cleared by Mentors and Judges to be able to reach this far.
THE ASSUMPTION : Ditto
THE QUESTION : Will Paresh even come to top 2? (correction here)
THE ANSWER : AN AFFIRMATIVE "YES" (in my opinion) which Salil also concedes.
I would like my witnesses to appear, if permission granted,Melord.
1. The Judges : All the judges who have seen Paresh since in prelims and Agnipariksha did approve of him as singer by putting him in subsequent rounds.
2. HR : When it mattered most, he picked up Paresh to be 1 of the 6 Brahmshastra...again proves HR's faith and confidence in Paresh considering the present trend of music that Junta wants.
3. UDIT NARAYAN : when came to Bombay did not get to sing as playback singer for years...was told to get classical training. We have a leading playback singer b4 us in Udit.
4. SHAAN : he was just another host on an insignificant TV show and we have him as a leading playback singer now.Same goes with Sonu Nigam who started with TVS SRGMP.
Melord..am not touching the points on which Salil has already conceded that Paresh is good.
coming to his other aspects:
- He was a contestant in SRGMP at Dubai and did clear some rounds but showed enough potential even then.Compared to that, his diction,his voice modulation and all round singing has improved by leaps n bound.
- He cannot be compared with Qazi since qazi was eliminated in the first round itself by Judges and then repeatedly whereas, Paresh has been put in next round by judges based purely on his singing..just goes to prove thathe has the inherent talent as a singer.
- Do we need only a playback singer. Yes, but are other playback singers not singing on stages or concerts or on TVs or for any charity. Paresh has that pure singing talent backed by his persona to carry it off on stage.
- his disclosure of his marriage is insignificant as even after becoming STARS or FAMOUS ,various personalities have found new partners. This is no ground that he is seeking votes by not disclosing.
- is he a heart throb...YES, and I too have aliking for him as a complete package.
CONCLUSION : Does the above argument make himONE OF THE BEST SINGERS- AN AFFIRMATIVE YES !!
WHY ONE OF THE BEST SINGERS : Coz I see the same potential in VINEET
THE VERDICT- Paresh NOT GUILTY of hiding his marital status. He is acquitted of all the charges.
Paresh comes out a winner overcoming all odds. 😃
