Paresh’s Fate

Aight !! So Paresh is back in SRGMP C2005 ...that too wid a bang ..30%..I know paresh has a lot of support from galz in india as well as in these forms but i am sorry to say but i cant lie that hez not good enough to win this competition based on his singing ..Vinnet , Hemachandra , Debojit and even sharib are better singers than him ..Itz funny when i look at the posts and ppl argue abt who would win the competetion ( Generally itz b/w Hemachandra, Vinnet and Sharib ) or some odd fans of Rajeev and Debojot ..however as i speak right now ..the reality is that if voting remains as it is paresh would win challenge 2005 .....Because of Paresh many of these talented singers would be eliminated becoz " indian galz like him " ...i mean i dont undestand ...is this a modelling competition? or Mr India competiton ? ...HR made the biggest mistake by bringing back Paresh in the Brahamshtra ...I am not saying paresh is a bad singer or anything but he cannot be simply compared with the rest of finalists ....Qazi Tauqeer won the FG ...and that was fine wid me bcoz FG is not a 100% singing competition ...whereas SRGMP is a competiton to get talent for a playback singer not for a member of BOYBAND or a pop singer . In the initial rounds i was so interested in this program that i would get off from job before my job ended and now everyweek since brhamstra ..i am losing my interest becoz of ppl like paresh are gona win this competition ...(whose hindi accent gets better as song as the song starts and it gets worse as soon as he starts speaking ...what a majic ! )

RESULT

Paresh will be the winner of SRGMP challenge 2005 ( be happy all the galz who voted for him ..and plz listen to his upcoming CD ...6 times a day )

I think its not fair to leave it for the audience to choose the best in Agnipariksha round. If you look at the history of public voting in such shows (FG, II), looks is the only criteria most of the people go for. I really feel sorry for the SRGMP show. They are doing this just to gain popularity. The purpose of the show has completely taken the back seat now.
I think, good singers like Swananda, Nihira may get eliminated earlier than Twinkle, Ujjaini & Himani, if public poll is to decide the fate of the singers. In the boys too, Paresh may continue his dream run to reach top 3!
It would have been nicer, had they formed a panel of judges & jury to decide winners (anyone remember Zee Cinestar Ki Khoj?)

if u see carefully the show, they said ki..
aap aajkal ek aur show dekh rahe honge an fark mahsoos kar rahe honge..
i am a big fan of FG an Saregama..
but cant copmare this two shows..
an saregama degraded the show by entering into mktg fundas..
they should hv not used the famegurukul funda of public voting cause they are looking for playback singers not for any album..
and they should hv been judged by the all gr8 ppl of music world..
they ae doin unjustice to their contestants..
now they hv also strted promoting like FG 😕 ..
now they are copying them..
i thought Aishwarya was more desrving than paresh..
even Vishwas from Adesh gharan was not selescted for the bramahastra..tht was quite disapoointing for me..

now the future will only tell us is this kind of judgement is right for search of playback singers..?????????????????????????????

I am surprised by your comments on paresh, though he lost [when he deserved] he was brought back by HR not by public . There after public brought him back [with 30 % vote in his favour]highest of all out of six contestents selected by HR . though he may not speak good hindi but he sings well with good accent and feeling . A few years back there was a boy sanjeev who took part in tvs saregamapa [anchor was sonunigam] and he was from US and he reached upto final . In his case also he was not able to talk hindi . when he tried to talk hindi it was like paresh how he speaks. but his songs very appreciated well by the leading music directors like anil biswas, naushad, op nayyer, khayyam, parveen sultana.[who were judges] he could not get the trophy in final though he sang well but there was a boy named mohd vakil who sang a saraswati vandana and [also veda mantra] and his accent of sanskrit was really very nice,and appreciated by everybody. mohd vakil was the winner. speaking is nothing to do with singing

more over paresh has taken part in tvs sagamapa in dubai. We were expecting that some time he may take part in India. speaking is nothing to do with singing. lataji. shreya ghoshal, sadhana sargam udit narayan [list continues] all have sang in tamil and telugu and it was very hit. they do not know to talk tamil. these r all very small thing which shd be ignored

Look at dilshad he is having breathing problem while singing. no doubt vishwas was a good singer, but the reason for not selecting vishwas may be that adheshji is having 2boys and 2 girls and the quota for his gharana may be over so he was left i feel.

another thing please dont compare qazi of FG with paresh . please log on to web site tvs saregamapa.sifymax.in and see the video where he sang husn wale tera jawab nahin [sung by mohd rafi] and it is so fantastic and you will change your opinion on paresh. qazi cannot sing that type of song . he can dance well and by fluk his songs suits only for new peppy songs not for the old songs.

Finally I agree with your views on one point that declaring winners by public voting is not good. public will vote to their favourite contestant again and again which benefits the telephone department only but good singers can be judged by good standard judge who will sincerly give his judgement . [we dont want the judges like FG type who declares winner indirectly to public whom they shd vote. this is a very dangerous trend.

I totally disagree with the opinion that Paresh deserved the winning. In what way? his singing is average or below average. His sur is out of order 30-40% of the time.He lacks the ability to sing with any alap or gamaka which is very much required in singing. He has not been a trained singer, and cannnot make it up now. Singing is a sadhana, and takes a lot of years to acheive it. Just because Paresh is cute with his accent etc, does NOT mean that he sings good. The public as usual is influenced by his looks and performence rather than his competence in singing. Again and again I say Paresh is a good performer but NOT a good singer. Unfourtunetly the public and his supporters have not been able to distinugish beteween the two. In conclusion I agree with the saying that Sa re ga ma pa has become a modelling competion, not a singing one! we may see more Arjun Rampal's and Salman Khan's winning the Challenge 2006 rather than excellent, trained singers such as Abijeet or Hemachandra. This is extremly sad, because sa re ga ma pa has losts it originality ,and the goal it stood for;bring out excellent fresh singing talent to the world. Please be aware of this producers and directors of sa re ga ma pa!

Yeah I like PAresh a lot because he has looks and even singing but in my opinion I mean he shouldn't win the contest. I think u know wht i mean. 😉

Thanks Asha Rao for reminding me about the boy from US.He had sung very well.In one of the episodes he had sung Tu hi mera prem devta from Kalpana originally sung by Mohd Rafi and Manna Dey.He had also sung a song from old Sharabi starring Dev Anand.The song was Mujhe le chalo aaj phir us jagah par.I liked his singing so much that I bought cassette of Sharabi to listen to the original song.
Coming to Paresh I am not a big fan of his but his singing is not bad eaither,I enjoy watching his performance...but I would vote for a real singer

All I know is....That Paresh deliberately forgets to mention or thank his wife in the programme...so that he could lure votes from the young impressionable girls , who are going ga-ga over him. I like Paresh too and I think he is a good singer...But in Public voting as people are saying it is all about look and presentation...and Public can be really gulliable in such matters...and I am afraid they are only going to vote Paresh because of the cute way he presents himself , instead of his singing...no matter how good his singing be.
Although I am not a great fan of Ashwariya, but I think he really sang as well as Paresh that day and look at number of votes he got.It was during that time only , I noticed that how Paresh , while thanking...thanked his mom-dad and then he paused and added family..guru and what not...He conveniently forgot to thank his wife.
Ohhhhhhh! well, all I can say is, he is a smart guy and would go far with his innocent looks.

did u notice when jatin said that if he had daughter toh woh paresh ki shaadi usse kar deta... that time also paresh did n't mention that he is already married. all becoz his image of handsome hunk between girls will ruined, if he spilled the secret.

I am so happy to see that my favourite paresh is in finals. 👏 He is so cute and handsome. When I watch the show I am not able to hear his song because I am lost in his looks. He is very honest....no one is so good from his heart. He is the best 👍🏼 He sings good too. Everyone likes him and he will be the winner. Cheer up for him pleeeeeezzzzzzzz 😉
