That is next in my watch list ..i am liking spring of the blade depsite leads killing their own show with poor voice modulation..im just unable to understand what he really wants from her..he is unnecessarily and unreasonably going behind her like puppy even after she rejects his intentions..cant really understand their dynamic

My 4 cents from novel knowledge, he's smitten. He just wants her by hook or crook. Not to the point of being a red flag but his actions aren't quite straight either he saw it, he likes it, he wants it kinda male lead!!

Im sucker for such male leads actually..but if i am unable to connect here then well xu kai clearly dint deliver or create impact 🫠 (im acting like high end critic lol 😂😂)

I completed all the available episodes of SOTB and now i dont know what to do..this is first show i watched while it is still airing ..it is damn good 😭..i dont know what to do now ..

Me with Against the Current now watched till 15 already and the drama will run till 2nd week of Oct. Regretting my speed

I'll switch to SOTB on Monday though but stilll......

The Crown Prince is killed, and the heroine ends up marrying the Emperor.

She is the Empress now.

Then one day, while her palanquin is passing by, she comes across a man who looks familiar to her, but she can't figure out where she has seen him before.

Basically, it's the Crown Prince, but his face has been changed.

It's kind of like the plastic surgery concept we have in Hindi serials, except in this one, they have something involving the bone structure or facial structure.

Later, he comes back to the empire and takes up a ministerial position.

Overall, I haven't read the novel properly yet, but this is what I understood from the first two chapters..
