A theory I just thought of:

Either on his return from the US or soon thereafter, Mihir had an accident and lost memory, and mandira took him in as amar. Karan knew or has some idea about it- mandira convinced him with the logic - see what happened - you worshipped tulsi as your mother and see what she did. Now at least let me take care of your father.

I have a feeling Karan is in the know.

Sid ka age itna zyada nahi hai. He was samaira's college mate, so almost same age. Writers ka number game hi kharab hain

Karan and gautham both are in the know. I think they didn't have a choice because mihir doesn't remember anyone else in the family except mandira. Karan hates her but loves mihir, if he had a choice he wouldn't have left him with that woman.

Karan seems to have lost his sense of right or wrong since the woman he worshipped apparently killed his son and so maybe he thought no harm in letting his father go to mandira. Maybe his newfound hatred (more than hatred i think it's anger and confusion) for tulsi made him hate mandira a little less - if you understand what I'm trying to say

I get what you are saying, he has a mix of emotions related to Tulsi parth matter, gets very impulsive. Chalo dekhte hain 1 month mein pata chal jayega, mujhe to yehi lagta hain ki dono gautam n Karan involved hain. When Tulsi first unmasked anupam, Karan and Gautam again looked at each other for a moment after Tulsi left.

If Karan is okay with mihir being with mandira then the person he spoke to on the phone on engagement day could be her or a man who works for her. I still believe it is more because of the situation mihir is in right now than Karan just trusting mandira in any way.

Yes, but smart phones didn't exist 27 years ago... which had the ability to share location at ease... that was the era of phones with game of snakes 🤣

The guy cannot act, because of hos bad expressions, even vrinda ke saath he has no chemistry... she seems to have more chemistry with hemant than with her on screen husband!
