Their is big different between social media life and an actually street life.

Such a cashgrab mediocre movie.

Did not had " a bittersweet life" plot to copy so fumbled hard.

They spoiled one of the most anticipated scenes I think

Just saw the movie. It’s a decent watch in isolation, although it falls way short when compared to the cult status of the first part. The biggest issue with the film is that it becomes far too formulaic in the second half, causing your interest to waver. The emotional moments also lack the intensity of the first film, which significantly dilutes the overall impact.

The film gets off to a promising start and does a good job of connecting the events of the first film with the sequel. The first half is fairly fast-paced, with several twists that are genuinely unexpected. The presence and legacy of the first Awarapan loom large over the entire first half.

Unfortunately,the second half becomes increasingly formulaic and predictable. The entire part inside the prison feels unnecessary.The film also lacks the emotional arc and depth that made the first film so impactful, and there are very few moments that genuinely give you goosebumps. However, the re-emergence of Shriya in a crucial scene evokes a strong sense of nostalgia.

Emraan Hashmi delivers a terrific performance and slips effortlessly into the character of Shivam. He completely owns the role, with a commanding screen presence that remains one of the film’s biggest strengths. Disha puts in a decent performance.

Overall, Awarapan 2 is a watchable sequel though nowhere close to the first part .

Everyone knew Awarapan 2 will open big. All samosa accounts kept talking about it. Trade was hyped.
