It has two priciples: absolute non-violence (Satyagraha) and institutional moral integrity. For those belonging to this movement these two values are like a credo and also a shield against state crackdowns.
Now, following what had happened now during their March to Parliament, the CJP made the strategic decision to halt further street marches. Dipke publicly announced, "We will not march again because the police will hurt the youth again," prioritizing the physical safety of their base over escalatory street battles.
What a downer for the allegedly biggest democracy in South Asia. Those here genuinely interested in what the mouvement stands for will get ample info on the net... here just one article:

Let me tell you
There is no right that is absolute according to the Constitution of India.
You can't march in thousands towards the Parliament.
CJP members knew it; that's why none of them were on the ground.
One ran away in the name of meeting Nadda, another was eating a burger in NSP, third was sitting peacefully in a tractor.
Bcoz they knew that they didn't took permission and the police wouldn't let this protest happen.
Parliament aeri geri jagah nahi hain ki jab man kiya, jiske saath kiya and kitne bhi log chal diye waha without permission.
Especially when we have seen the Parliament attack, and there were soo many who were there to not do a peaceful protest and were there for their own political gains.
CJP never had honest intentions.
Even for the Jantar Mantar protest, you need to take prior permission, 7 days before. They didn't take it. They gave the letter on the day of the protest, knowing that it is easy to fool people who get info from Instagram. They knew they won't care that CJP themselves didn't follow the rules but will blame the Police.
But they changed the script and allowed them to protest.
Also, permission was for only 1 day, but the Police did nothing against them for 20 days, even when Dipike tried to provoke them and tried to frame them in fake allegations.
Even now it was stones were thrown at the police first; one guy tried to pepper spray the police, throwing the barricade, then the police did a lathicharge. Which they themselves were wrong as they can't hit above the waist.
In yesterday's protest, people literally were waving kripal and talvar in CP, beating the force members in a group.
