I genuinely think that Alpha is not as bad as it got painted through social media and some critics... (it was the same, to me, with War 2)... I don't know what people expected... maybe Dhurandhar-experiences (and reports) had been such an influence (combined with the nationalist feeling peddled through it and other movies) that there got logic searched those kind of spy movies just don't try to propagate.

Honestly, looking at some members' avatars and knowng their affiliation, I'm just quite hesitant to believe anything they peddle, especially when keeping it on a general level without giving more insight what exactly made them getting the impression they tell.

I don't mind if someone doesn't like a movie, but not telling the reasons more in detail makes it suspicious to me (Bri may be an exception to me as being an Alia fan... still I find it weird to not mentioning the reasons but also keeping it on the same general level as some others with a known dislike of a certain story-telling).

Why they never fail to hype even an objectively terrible movie just because it runs in certain agendas. Even when fans of the lead actor is calling it a terrible movie in no uncertain terms.

Thing is, it's not working anymore. You know one has reached the rock bottom of quality or even morality when you have to blame the existence of other movies ( be it War 2 or Dhurandhar ) to invalidate the objective reasons of calling a trash movie trash.
