BOI blames War 2 for Alpha failure

Well even with the inflated number BOI is using, Sachnik had it on 1.80 crores on Thursday at least they can admit as a failure.

So kjo & alia hv paid boi to do running commentary agnst Hrithik war 2 for alpha failure. In short, they r trying to tell the world that chutki don't hv any pull at BO. Yrf distributed Tiger series, pathaan, war & alpha but boi has used different figures only for Hrithik war films.

To say, you've to blame the existence of previous films to 'explain' the current film's failure. That says more about the current movie than the previous one .

No, it's not about Karan and Alia, it's about YRF who very clearly isn't aligning to the government's politics. Aditya's and Rani's kid isn't old enough yet to drag it into a controversy to go against them so it is through the movies whenever possible.

I won't say that War2 and Alpha (most probably) have flaws in the story-telling and execution, but those negative campaigns would not be done with people who are in the 'good books' of very powerful people.

What now happens with Alpha isn't far away from what happened with Zero (and JHMS before)... the bombardement with negativity kills the interest to watch the movie... and those behind this have no interest to distinguish between what may have been laudible and what not... it is a wholesale dismissing.... not at all 'my cup of tea'

By your logic, that YRF is the target of govt, even Pathan and Saiyaara should have tanked.

Matter of fact, Aditya chopra ke purvaj r from Pakistan side when it was part of akhand bharat. Uska pak prem abhi tak khatam nahi hua naa kabhi hoga.
