Prem and Shruti join the long list of characters who were ruined, so that UpMaaa can spout yet another lecture on parvarish, sanskar and maa hoon ne. And yet, Kotharis proved that they are still better than TamaShahs in every way. No matter what Vasundhara's issues with UpMaaa are, she still disciplined her grandchild, unlike TamaShahs, who encourage their rotten kids at every step. And Vasundhara supported Rahi because she knew the latter is not wrong. While the so-called family of choti UpMaaa accused her at the very first chance. No matter how low they make Prem and Shruti fall, no one is going to support UpMaaa and trashy TamaShahs moral high-handedness.

The TamaShah's giving grand moral lectures to Phaltu Prem after he was caught stealing Badi Upmaa's secret recipe diary is the joke of the century. It perfectly reminds me of that classic Telugu word — the Rosary Pea seed — which looks beautifully bright red on the outside but has a hidden black spot at the bottom. It belongs to a brilliant Telugu idiom for hypocrites who love to point fingers at others' faults while conveniently ignoring their own massive flaws.

Honestly, after today's episode, Choti Upmaa should immediately slap Phaltu Prem with divorce papers. No wife in her right mind would tolerate a husband who casually betrays her trust like this. Speaking of ruined characters, I actually liked Sukriti Kandpal as Shruthi, but the very moment they replaced her with a new actress, the character was completely butchered. Finally, Badi Upmaa really needs to kick her precious anmol ratans, Doshu and Makkhi, right out of Kachrakunj before she even dares to think about reforming her boyfriend Diggy's son or Phaltu Prem.

It's very difficult for me to watch any episode from beginning to end without fast forwarding. So, this is what I gather from whatever I see. I may be wrong, please feel free to correct me.

Prerna has just got married and is already upset with the Shahs (I include Anupamaa with the Shahs). Baa was once again right. Prerna is probably going down the Dimpy path.

Anupamaa is a sobbing mess and I no longer feel bad for her. As wrong as Prem is, I did feel bad for him. Anupamaa wants to gain back her son and then she tries to poke her fingers in his eyes No wonder Toshu hasn't reformed till now.

It isn't Anupama's responsibilty to correct Prem, so she could have straight away removed her anger on him for stealing her diary, burning her form, etc. But she wanted to gain the old Prem back and the way she went about it, it seemed she wanted to push Prem further on the rage path. Not only Shruti, Anupamaa also seems to be using sly strategies to eliminate competition by calling Prem and further upsetting him.

AFAIR, Anupamaa was once worried that Prem would remove his frustration and anger on Raahi but where is this concern when she becames all aggressive ( ghamand thodna and so on). Anupamaa has the patience of a two year old and has the talent of making any situation terribly worse.

Any other show, and I mean any other, I would 100% side with Anupamaa but here I don't know..Atleast Prem is honest and not wearing a concerned, mahaanta mask. I don't support his insanity (he needs more patience too. Give Anupamaa two months and she will find a way to wreck her own life) but I atleast understand it. If someone did that eye - finger nonsense with me, I would never listen to that person's advice.

Raahi, by contrast, was atleast talking sense without any daughter card. Typically, Shruti is the absolute bad guy when she didn't know about the form burning. But since she isn't a good Maa, she is responsible for that adult man's bad actions.

I don't know which aggressive Maa Anupamaa keeps refering to in all her lectures. Her own Mom was pretty mild. She was sensible and accepted that she made a mistake by getting Anupamaa married to Vanraj. I never saw her Anupamaa's Mom shout at her in that unhinged, aggressive, proud way and slap her even when they had a conflict regarding Anupamaa's priorities (Shahs over herself/Anuj) again and again. I am very grateful after watching this serial that my MM is my MM 🧿

I don't know if Anupamaa needs therapy or not for switching like Aparichit (weeping on the floor to dangerously coming close to poking enemies in the eye) but everyone who knows her definitely does.

This serial has possibly destroyed a few of my braincells. Because I am actually caring about Baa more than Anupamaa.

Before Vanraj's abrupt character u turn of leaving his family homeless, he respected his Mother as did Dolly and Sanjay. Baa helped Vanraj with his cafe (learnt Keto burger as well) and established her own skincare business successfully providing employment to her great grandson. She has good people instincts and also never doubted that Anupamaa is a troublemaker. Her husband is a man who earns peanuts, has saved nothing for their old age, disbelieves in the concept of tax and criticises her every opportunity he gets including her birthday. Yet she looks after him.

While the Popular Award for the Best Worst Maa is the obvious answer, I think the Critics Award in this category should go to Khyati. Forget Aryan, when Prem was going ballistic on each and every family member, she taunted him about his poor fire safety checks Do people of her generation no longer believe that there is a time and place for everything? And after all of that, when Prem goes almost completely bonkers, she starts crying like a helpless mother. I don't ever remember her talking to Prem, when he is relatively calm, about his problems / feelings / right or wrong. She keeps taunting him left, right and centre. Frankly, I will accept only Raahi, Vasundhra and Shruti being upset with Prem (Prerna was justified too) because they put up with a lot of his nonsense for his own good.

Anupamaa has come a long way from dancing on the road in front of the bullying drunkards to threatening her own 'son' on the road. Successful Udaan?

Khyati was never a good mother, step or biological. First, she abandoned her own baby to play mother to her step-kids. And when that child came back for revenge, she blindly trusted him and stood against her stepson. Then Aryan died (thanks to an addiction he might have acquired due to her abandonment) and she cunningly put the entire blame on Anupamaa and abused Raahi. Now, she has taken Anupamaa's course on motherhood and only taunts and humiliates her son, who is already clutching at straws to maintain his dream. Either all the mothers go completely crazy under Anupamaa's guidance or they are called evil.

Prem side of family are bunch of dholkis. They would stay in that house and do 247 gungaan of upma ji da bestttt

Khyati keeps lecturing that don't hate upma etc. that uncle is also same. Aunty keeps taunting for everything. Even that fatty and the husband is useless, their concern is anuma and the shahs. They don't give a damn about their own house and family members

If Parag was like old Manish goenka he would have bashed these people for supporting outsider over beta. To think maybe prem wont be kabir singh part 2 if Parag was here. That actor left. I like vasundhara but they aren't giving her any material to work. She and Gautam would have destroyed upma in one night.
