Have seen my parents relationship fill with understanding love & respect & also my bad marriage in which i got cheated as my ex-husband used me for permanent residential in my country while he had his set of fling till i caught him red-handed and took the biggest decision of my life. Diya did not contact Ally. Its actually Ally who tracked her due to Diya ke diaries posts from insta. As for talking to Kunal about her insecurities,she did not furthermore Kunal does not want marriage currently creates more fear & insecurities in her. She wants certainty & accountability of their long term relationship while in Kunal's mind they are actually married. If she talks film is over and Ally cannot make an entry😂

Ok guys back with the review. Firstly i want to make the comparisons of Cocktail 1 & 2. I agree story is different and characters are different but still there are some underlying similarities & difference.

I did not like Cocktail 1 writing as i hate such writing of betrayal & infidelity in relationships & friendships furthermore Cocktail 1 has no story. If the film worked its due to the music & the character Veronica played by Deepika. Imitiaz best work and writing has to be Socha Na Tha & Jab We Met as those films from the beginning interval & climax and ending he weaves the characters & ends it beautifully after that his writings for other films goes downhill especially the climax & ending is so weak. Cocktail i hate the thrash he written and the ending too. What clicks with me.was Veronica amazingly.written character.

Veronica- she is a coconut,the woman is wild party girl booze dance flings thats how her life is, this is one side of her personality. There is another side of her personality whom is so complex,there is this broken lonely girl who yearns for love and this girl has a heart of gold. She does not show her inner self and the reason is so that noone can break her heart. This is another personality of hers. She is so complex that i just connect with her pain. She has a character depth beyond that fashion queen status. The woman is a emotional mess and self-destructive. She hurts herself rather than hurting the people she loves. Veronica era we did not discuss about her fashion but more on her character depth. This woman makes you feel all kinds of emotions for her. I really felt bad when she was begging that cheater jerk and ready to change herself for that creep. I was like girl you are the best there is no need to change your personality for anyone. You are your best friend & partner. Deepika lived it. The girl personality is her strength but she is so broken that she even ready to sacrifice her self-respect that was slight prick for me

Meera- One comfused soul she said she does not love her best friend's boyfriend yet she has feelings for him. When for a temporary moment she got her love,she forgot her best friend who was once the gf of the man she loves and how lonely the girl was. I dislike Meera character. She betrayed her best friend.

Gautam- i hate & despise his character. A cheater who use a woman for his physical pleasure than when it comes to marriage he needs a traditional girl. What a shallow character. He is the main root of all the chaos.

I don't even understand how the hell Gautam fall for Meera. There was no connection at all

The only character i relate to is Veronica. She is complex but the girl has a heart of gold. If she is self-destruction in love she is equally sacrificing in friendship and for the people she loves

Cocktail 1 was more of complicated and complex relationships

I hate the ending because Gautam deserves to go to hell. Both girls should have dumped him. I hate the ending

Watched Cocktail 2, thanks I didn't wasted money in theatre watching

Shahid is lovable in 1st 1 hour with his delhi ka launda humour, although he tried very hard by laughing again n again, but woh delhi ka kameenapan like akki nahi aaya.

Rashmika got the worst role, since kriti's entry, she is totally sidelined till the end wedding climax. What was she thinking doing the film?

Kriti - The Horror show of film, the moment she enters, film take a dive, poori film ka naas maar diya, overacting, using double for bikini scene, nothing special, just irritating.

2nd half is stretched like anything, music is good, rest boring, irritating.

Thanks for your honest review but what do you mean you didn't see it in cinemas? thats the only place to see it..please don't tell me you watched the pirated one online..it is 2026..no way are people still doing it..thats not cool and you cannot like a movie like this..the print is awful and its just not fun

I watch in cinemas, only if film is interesting enough to phooko my valuable - 1660 rupees. Print was absolutely fine, agar film achi lagti toh I would have gone to theatres also, but it is unbearable.

the song with kriti and shahid in the water, was so beautiful, everyone is talking about kriti looking hot, her bikini but the face shots of Shahid....that's how he needs to look in films......swoon....
