Overall, it's a pretty good novel. I had a lot of second hand embarassment reading it!!

@Italics It's a bit ironic of you to say that after spoiling practically an entire novel over the past 8–10 pages with screenshots

Anyway, I wouldn't rate it because I'd inevitably see it as part of the Nanwu trio and judge its writing and storyline against the other two novels. Like I said, as a standalone, overall, it's a good novel.

I ended up spilling all the suspense of The Road to Glory here.

After watching The Princess Royal drama and then reading the novel, I finally understood how disappointing it feels to already know the spoilers.

But the truth is, I really loved Road to Glory, which is why I kept sharing my favorite chapters to convince Swathi and you to read it.

Only today did I realize that, by doing so, I may have ruined your excitement and the mood for reading the novel.

I said I would read it. With Blossoms of Power airing next month, if I don't finish the novel by at least the end of this month, I won't be able to enjoy the drama. That's also why upon MaDiee's idea I moved the entire discussion to a separate thread so that I could go through it when I read later!

Rebirth of a Star General (Legend Of The Female General)

The Rebirth of the Malicious Empress of Military Lineage (Jiang Men Du Hou - currently filming)

^^ both are from the same author. I've read all rebirth plots from this author but these two are absolute best

This Is Ridiculous (How Dare You!?)

Blazing Sunlight (Shine On Me)

Star Trails (Speed and Love)

Chasing Jade (Pursuit Of Jade)

Tree on the Immortal Terrace (Love Of The Divine Tree)

The Possession of My Beloved (Are You The One)

Don't expect all the dramas to be good, some of the dramas are absolute trash or at least according to me, when compared to the novel
