Jokes apart, isn't Pumaa such an inspiration for all, especially the old hags, geezers and farts. She truly proves that age is no bar for having a boyfriend and enjoying one's life to the fullest. For too long she lived for others, now it's time to prioritise herself and her own 'needs'.

What are they doing with Shruti character. Makers are literally destroying her character to elevate upmaa aunty as usual.
This has been the pattern since the very beginning of the show. The biggest problem with this sinking show is its complete lack of balance. Viewers are perfectly fine with Upmaa making mistakes, but instead of making the female lead accept her faults and face the consequences, the writers constantly whitewash her blunders while turning every other character into a villain in the process.
The remaining characters exist only to glorify Upmaa. They have been reduced to cheerleaders whose only job is to praise her, defend her nonsense, and clap for her terrible decisions no matter how much damage she causes.
