I think the makers knew it. The actors didn't do any promotions. And before release it self I saw the rate as 149 rs per ticket on some pap pages.

No, the movie isn't boring (if one isn't already determined to find it boring, though). It just tells a story about how things can go the wrong way... but I guess, the Indian audience got - more & more - manipulated in a direction where watching those stories in a theatre don't have a place anymore in their lives (the destruction and restruction of the Hindi filmindustry is in full swing... hopefully - for many - it may end in some years...)
