Atrocious writing, to say the least. The order wasn’t even taken, yet a fully prepared plate magically appeared at the customer’s table. In any real restaurant, food is prepared only after an order is placed, and it takes time and process. But here, basic logic is simply ignored for convenience.

How did Upmaa suddenly become an expert in cuisines of all states when her known cooking is limited to typical Gujarati dishes like Dhokla and Thepla? Mastering multiple regional cuisines takes years of training, understanding ingredients, and consistent practice—not a sudden switch overnight.

She did not deserve to win the Super Star Chef trophy in the US after such a poor presentation of Mohan Thal, where the texture was off and the ghee even spilled accidentally. It felt far from a winning standard by any fair benchmark.

Another food competition is coming up, but based on what has been shown so far, it doesn’t look like skill is the deciding factor here.
