Patidar shanks one, and Rahane holds on, after multiple attempts! Back of a length on middle and off. This spins away and Patidar, swishing wildly at it, skews it up. Rahane settles under it at extra cover and after 7-8 bites at the cherry, eventually clings on. Ball landed on his stomach in the end as he fell to the turf, and Rahane will be grateful it did!
