The mess that Lord Curzon started 120 years by creating the province of "Eastern Bengal and Assam" through his "divide & rule" tactic and (after having got reversed) resurfaced because of the "Mountbatten Plan" and Sir Radcliffe. Both times the representatives of the Muslim Liga were in favour of these decisions.
Maybe, it may take 120 years to change that??? Basically... wasn't the British rule in India "divide & rule" already before 1905?
Muslims are always in favour of division when it benefits them and they’re in a significant number. It’s gonna happen in the west eventually. Tells you everything that King Charles wouldn’t wish on Christian holidays but he’s wishing for Islamic ones.
British are so gonna get a very practical and hands-on lesson regarding Karma. The divide and rule thing is working everywhere and it’s reached their shores too. These guys didn’t see it coming home but oh well…
As for the reversal of the same in India, we can’t be sure of the timeline because Pakistan and Bangladesh aren’t just cut off in terms of their boundaries but more importantly their masses have been systematically made into Hindu hating cults by the kind of education system and the theological teachings they got there.
If it were only a matter of physical borders, they can be done away with… it’s the fact that generations have been raised with a particular mindset is what’s gonna be the reason why this will take however long it does and that’s absolutely fine. We need the geography back, we will get the people back.. but we shouldn’t be recreating history just to go through the same thing all over again. Unless the minds of the upcoming generations are groomed for an eventual merger from now on, everything is moot. That process has begun with the claiming of Hindu rituals, traditions and festivals but it still is a very long road ahead, this is step 1.
