Do you remember there was a time Abhishek, mamtas nephew got into some corruption case and every single day news papers and opposition leaders used to bash him? Do you know didi do? She went to Delhi and boom no one talked about that corruption case ever again

Anyways related to this national security threat, they would do whatever they can. Get the big netas into jail interrogate them etc. keep doing their work secretly cause aam janta don't need to know that. But yeah top to bottom isn't possible just because Subhendu's PA got shot. The actual hope is they get the correct person. And not put someone into jail just to close the case quickly. Not even Subhendu would want that.

Don’t know about Abishek but there was a probe that many politicians’s cases who joined BJP from Congress were stalled.

Obviously. Bjp is so different. They are just more polished and work like corporate and plan like 50 years ahead. Shubhendu also had a lot of cases. No one is talking about it.arjun singh had many cases. Happens for everyone.

WB post poll scenario has become quite complicated. They shouldn’t have waited for the 9th since this year 25th Baishakh i.e.Tagore’s 165 Birth Anniversary falls on 9th May. The swearing-in ceremony should have been on 5th or 6th i.e. immediately after counting. Anniversary could have been celebrated later separately. Miscreants got some more time to create chaos before the new govt is formed.Hope everything goes well !!!!

It was impossible since Mamta didn’t resign on her own and until she did so or the assembly was past its due where it could be legally dissolved and without any legal challenges to the same they can’t get a swearing in done. The governor could dissolve the assembly only today as the term was up. So whether or not Mamta resigns was irrelevant because by constitution, the term ends today. There’s usually an interim government wherein even post the resignation or the dissolution of the assembly the exiting CM is allowed to step in as the interim CM before the incoming CM’s oath ceremony after which he/she can formally step into the office. This is done especially when there’s a considerable gap of say even a week or so between the announcement of the results and the oath taking ceremony. It’s done to ensure the smooth running of the governance wherein work isn’t interrupted especially where signatures of the CM are of prime importance to forward any files or release any funds or other important work.

Had Mamta resigned on the 4th itself the oath could have been taken at any point of time but she didn’t so the governor had to wait for the formal lapse of the assembly which completed its tenure and the process was done. We know if the BJP had tried to do it even a day before then Mamta wouldn’t have wasted a moment to approach the Supreme Court to file a case for unlawful dismissal of a CM yada yada, even if the case would have been dismissed as it would have never worked out in her favour, she could have actually delayed the oath taking ceremony of the new CM and his cabinet by whatever means for however many days.

The 9th was declared as the date with this very factor in mind. Assam ceremony is scheduled for the 12th where outgoing CM, interim CM as well as incoming CM is Sarma himself so it could be delayed until next week. Despite what it looks like, West Bengal is the priority here. They have only taken 1 day between the dissolution and the ceremony. Why they delayed by a day can be for any number of reasons - maybe it’s because tomorrow’s Friday and we know that the peaceful community has a special love for this day so who knows… or maybe it’s purely for astrological reasons, because if anyone is telling me that the BJP leaders don’t consult some of the most learned and experienced people in this field, I’ll eat my hat!

The mess that Lord Curzon started 120 years ago by creating the province of "Eastern Bengal and Assam" through his "divide & rule" tactic and (after having got reversed) resurfaced because of the "Mountbatten Plan" and Sir Radcliffe. Both times the representatives of the Muslim Liga were in favour of these decisions.

Maybe, it may take 120 years to change that??? Basically... wasn't the British rule in India "divide & rule" already before 1905?
