It's good movie but I was expecting normal Marathi movie. Something like Faster fene movie. Maratha history movies have become 'grand'

I know choosing AR Rehman for making bgm of Chava was wrong choice of makers. Ajay Atul would have done same justice to bgm in Chava as much as they have done with Raje Shivaji.

But people on sm are saying AR Rehman intentionally ruined bgm of Chava because of religion, which is totally wrong and started calling him anti hindi , they should hear bgm of movie Ponniya Selven, Laagan etc , he gave good hindu bgm. He just failed to give good Marathi bgm as he is South Indian and he has less knowledge about Marathi culture. It's makers mistake to hire AR Rehman who has no knowledge about Marati culture.

It was so turned down for me after watching trailer. It was unimpressive. In addition, Ritesh Deshmukh was just misfit as Shivaji. The screen presence and commanding aura was definitely missing. Not every actor has personality for historical characters.

I am enjoying the bliss of first day of summer vacation...

It was a turn down for sure but good one time watch for people looking for a lill shouting and recording viral reels. It's badly made movie. Both Vicky in sambhaji and Ritesh were meh for me. Did you see Abhisheks acting? Not to demean anyone but Shahaji bhosle was a mughal minister and working under them. He was a warrior sure but malak navte te. Wasn't that the whole point of maratha rebellion for autonomy? The whole rajput and Mughal alliance is not shown? Why? If it's history you should be accurate.

People are singing their praises and I don't see it.

My music knowledge is limited but I did like chava music. But yeah Ajay Atul could've done better. I cannot see Ajay Atul pull a dilse or jodha akbar either🤷

Ig that genre is lost, either marathi ppl make women centric movies, or such historicals.

I also felt ritesh to be a misfit, how's bhagyashree in jijau's role? They could've cast mrunal deshpande but chose not to.
