Aside they way they interchanged Damini and Ganga completely in Karan's. Damini was his ex gf and Ganga bff, but he shared his feelings about Nandani only with Damini (partly because Damini nudged him/), but obviously you would be more at ease to discuss love life with your friend than ex girlfriend

And once the KNA track got over, sudden 180 degree turn, now he rarely spoke to Damini and was ready to fight for Ganga

So I wouldn't be surprised that once Rio Vaishnavi angle in started, Karan would support Rio(he might wrongly think that Vaishnavi loves Rio if at all he remembers the fondness of Parth towards Vaishnavi) while Nandani who till date has no connection to Parth will support Parth becoming her confidant (maybe along with Saloni)

Given their history anything is possible including Dev turning matchmaker out of spite.

That’s already my guess. This is a recreation of the OG Karan Mihir track with Mandira playing them both for fools for decades as a woman who has lost her mental health.

Niyati is doing the same with Karan but so far she’s pretty normal with Rio around. She’s not traumatising him as a man who grew up with his mom like she’s one bad news away from being locked for good in a padded cell in an asylum with a straitjacket.


Wouldn’t surprise me if Rio is aware of everything that she’s doing too and the only one being played for a fool is Karan.

Is it just me or Ansh and Rio don’t even look the same? I know the actors are the same, but Akash then and now don’t look the same at all. They keep saying he has the same face as Ansh, but it’s like they are making fun of us as he doesn’t even look as Ansh. Also Akash looks much better in naagin than here. 2 decades make a difference as does the styling. He was looking better back then and had no wrinkles and whatever procedure he seems to have had done on his face. I don’t know why but it certainly looks like he’s got some kind of thing done to his jaw at least. Not sure what the procedure is called.

The styling makes a difference. He was suave back then and even though he didn’t look like he could be Smriti’s son even then but it wasn’t as jarring to look at him back then as it’s now when he’s supposed to be playing someone in his 20s while he’s entered his early 50s but looks like he’s in the middle or at the end of them.

Back then he was supposed to look like a guy in his early to mid 20s and I believe he was in his late 20s to early 30s for his one year stint as Ansh; which while not logically appealing didn’t seem to that weird for him to play a character who is a bit younger than his real self; while now the 2 decades and some age gap between his onscreen age and his offscreen real life is hard to ignore and harder to digest, definitely hardest to accept.

Not to mention he’s aging badly. Likely a result of alcohol consumption but dunno.

It’s crazy how makers can make Karan appear like an emotional fool in this track while also giving him 2 scenes yesterday wherein he played a silent part in escalating the situation while getting away with it both the times.

He subtly pointed towards Gautam and mouthed his name when Tulsi wanted to take someone to task and ended up realising that it was a collective effort that gave her a slight migraine.

Later on as Gautam got Pari and Aryan’s marriage fixed almost as an instant coffee on the go, again, it was Karan who didn’t just instruct Pari as he whispered in her ears what to do as he saw Tulsi’s reaction coming from a mile away. Later as Pari failed to take the cue, he actually calls her name and gives her a physical push slightly so as to make her stance clear on the issue; inadvertently helping Pari delay her own marriage to Aryan which we all know she’s agreed to as a compromise but not wholeheartedly.

In a subtle way, what Gautam paved the way forward to, Karan helped block; as are their dynamics….

Neither time did Gautam or Tulsi catch him.

Also, I love how Tulsi instantly believed Karan without a question and didn’t rat him out the moment he said Gautam If Gautam had seen it, he would’ve again blown his lid because Maa’s favourite Karan blamed him and she accepted his version in a heartbeat, no questions asked
