Despite the good numbers, I miss member reviews... wonder who here did watch the movie...

Watched Bhooth Bangla last night. I was very excited for this movie seeing its stellar cast, and avoided watching trailers/teasers and reading anything about it online to not ruin the story or plot.

But honestly, it was ok. One time watch for me. I didn't find it as funny. Some parts were funny here and there, but it was nothing like Bhool Bhulaiya 1.The story-telling felt scattered. It got boring at some point. The songs were ok too.

The scary aspect of the movie was scary for me lol but I also don't watch scary movies at all! My husband who's used to watching American horror movies, thought it wasn't even remotely scary.

Akshay, Tabu, and Paresh Rawal all look their age for once. Tabu's dancing compared to BB2 was rustic too and I could tell she was getting out of breath a little at 1 point.

Overall, I'm surprised the movie is actually doing as good as it's doing. But maybe I'm in minority. Or maybe I just had BB1 level of expectation and that's why it fell so short. Either way, I had expected much more. For the cast they had, I wish the story and humor could have been more. And good, genuine humor, not vulgar.
