Shraddha Kapoor appreciates rumoured boyfriend Rahul Mody’s work, fans notice subtle hint

Bollywood actor Shraddha Kapoor has once again triggered relationship chatter after publicly appreciating the work of her rumoured partner Rahul Mody. While neither has confirmed their relationship, their frequent appearances together continue to keep speculation active in industry circles.

On Sunday, April 26, Shraddha shared an Instagram story where she praised a recent advertisement featuring actor Aneet Padda. The ad was written and directed by Rahul Mody. In her note, she wrote, “Cuteness + best acting ka perfect mishran = @aneetpadda (sic)”. She then added a separate line for Rahul, saying, “Aur cuteness se yaad aya, yeh writer-director kitna talented hain uff @modyrahulmody (sic)”.

The post quickly circulated online, with fans interpreting it as another subtle indication of their close bond. Neither Shraddha nor Rahul has responded to the renewed speculation following the story.

Rumours about the two first began in early 2024 after they were spotted leaving a dinner outing together in Mumbai. Since then, they have been seen at multiple public events, including the pre wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, which further fuelled public curiosity.

In June last year, Shraddha added to the buzz when she posted a selfie with Rahul on social media. In the picture, both were dressed in white and appeared relaxed, with Shraddha holding his arm. The caption read, “Dil rakh le, Neend toh vaapis de de yaar (Take away my heart, but at least return my sleep).” Around the same time, observers also pointed out a pendant with the letter “R” seen on her, which led to further discussion online.

Despite the ongoing speculation, the two have maintained silence on the nature of their relationship and have not made any public confirmation.

On the professional front, Shraddha has a busy slate ahead. She will next be seen in “Eetha,” a biopic based on Marathi folk artist Vithabai Narayangaonkar. She is also set to return in the third instalment of the horror comedy franchise “Stree,” along with her involvement in “Nagin,” produced by filmmaker Nikhil Dwivedi.
