At least all characters of SNS had an upward character graph in ways that made sense while still being toxic as hell. Gopi became educated and a teacher and later a businesswomen. Kokila become more loving and caring and eventually humbled down. Rashi started caring for people around her and was a string pillar for her sister. Urmila and Kokila finally bonded like friends to the point Kokila even allowed her to call her kagdi and Urmila started treating Gopi fairly. Plus SNS was entertaining as hell. Plus that fake Kokila track was funny. Gaura’s character was also fun as finally it felt like Kokila met her match and soulmate. In Rishta, there are only white days and cliffs and misunderstandings and vile Vidyas who shout at top of their voice to break your eardrums. There is no entertainment. Male lead’s evil acts are worse than any villain’s but he is glorified as hell and glazed wndleasly by some buffoons and the writers. In Gen 3 too they glorified Manyu until fans rejected him for white day mess. Then they brought Nav and treated him like some celestial angel. Aarohi and Ruhi are much more likeable and well developed as characters by the end of their character arcs but most of their storyline’s also involved toxicity and awful behaviour. TBH making Ruhi a villain felt forced since as a child she was much more mature and intelligent compared to adults around her. Also Akshu and Abhira are also unnecessarily switching between mahaan doormat mode and self respect mode. Plus they toss away their careers in bin. After their husbands abandoned them, they could have stayed with their family in their family home. Instead they give up their careers to become jogans
