Guys,

I’m on chapter 24, and while reading I came across a line that made me laugh a lot. The same thing happened in the drama too when Xie zhang or yun zhang asks if her parents ever told her that if she had to run away, what she should take with her, she says, my little sister.

The exact same thing is happening in the novel as well. It means the village parts are almost completely taken from the novel, so it’s really enjoyable to read.

Another funny incident.

When he is teaching her at her home so that she can reclaim her property, there’s another funny incident.

I don’t remember exactly which chapter it was in I think around chapter 22 or 23. He even tells Fan Changyu something like, Why do we need to kidnap your uncle?

We could just kill him directly and end all the trouble.

This exact same scene is also in the drama

In this particular scene in the drama.

The way Yun Zhang calls Fan Changyu with his hand gesture looked really cool to me, and the nervous, cute expression she gives right after he says, Why don’t we just kill your uncle and end it? made it even more funny

Have you seen videos from his university life? Man was a different person (I might be wrong) but to me, he looked the happiest and goofiest in his uni era his expression here looks like 'so this is what I've missed' 🥺

I thought this was his vlog update, didn't know they're coming with a full fledged documentary out of it

Yeah ..those were all there..enjoyable to read and relate..that courtroom scene where he gets arrested and fights with magistrate is not there

Yeah..he looks so happy in this vlog and seems genuinely interested in science and tech..is he loaded already ? Generationally rich ?

I feel so empty after POJ..i am rewatching kunning palace to fill that void 😭

I just hope Overdo doesn’t turn out to be traumatic.

I’m not completely sure, but I read somewhere that the hero loves the heroine very much.

Then one day, the heroine dies but actually, she fakes her own death.

After three years, she comes back as his sister-in-law.

Should be~ Nanjing Uni is one among top 5 unis in China, so it’s definitely not a budget-friendly option for education.

Now his parents seem to accompany him to his shooting especially Road To Glory, no idea what his parents are but he's definitely from creamy layer. Tbh Cent is filled with rich kids and graduates

Chen Duling graduated from Nanjing University of Aeronautics, Esther studied in Singapore, and her father is rumored to often invest in her ventures. Who else???? Song Zuer studied in US, Lu Yuxiao in UK, Arthur Chen in US...... so yea~ AND Cheng Lei is an architectural design graduate from Hebei Academy which is called the Hogwarts of Asia/China and his best buddy He Yu studied in Canada~

Oooo that's pretty common in Republican Era dramas. Provoke is about a guy and his step-mom, who's his age so Overdo sounds less scandalous to me

Oh it is republican drama ? I saw one ..circle of love..it was pure shit..never went back to that genre ..
