My two cents on the whole if it's love or not conversation.

They have been married for a month and possibly known each other for about a month so total of 2 months. So is love possible in this short time?

I believe so. Some people find love young and it lasts decades. Some wait and never find it.

Initially it was definitely curiosity from both of them. They had never encountered someone like the other. After that it was basic human decency, basic care you would offer another human who was in trouble or pain.

Mahid fell for her first. I think as he was around her; even though his grandfather made the decision for the marriage; he could see a future with her. Mahid has had time to sit with these feelings and they are run deep. Seher on the other hand fell harder. She really didn't get to know Mahid till after the marriage especially the essence of who he is and what makes him tick.

I think Seher thought he cared for him deeply but she didn't think it was love till Kausar said it. Kausar called it puppy love but the depth is much deeper and I don't think Seher fully understood her own feelings till the Nazima drama.

So in short, I think the love is real and they just didn't understand the depth of it till it was too late.

Kausers character has been written in a very negative way, the writer seems to be confused. When she needs any help she will keep on saying shukriya and next moment she shows her real side whether its the case of Dr Fareed or anyone.

When she heard mahid talking to Dr Fareed couldn't she understand the emotional side of mahid when he says seher is not his wife as she is just 16 and on that context he is giving divorce to her.

I dont think she is just being protective for her daughter I feel she is obsessed, controlling, and a lady who takes everyone's help but wants to show herself as a traumatized woman.

Being a mother couldn't she realise mahids pain seeing his face. Couldn't she see despite of giving divorce he stood by seher all the time though she insulted him and asked to leave

Did u all check her dialogue aapne walime ke din mujhe seher se door rehne ko kaha tha aaj main aapko keh rahi hu. It shows she was just waiting to give it back despite seeing mahids help and concern towards seher.

When she can make seher study without others letting know why can't mahid do the same.

Seher after her trip to aligarh also had told kauser that mahid gave her money to buy books.

Writers plz dont spoil the show by showing such negative side of a lady. Kauser uses her brain in everything couldnt she When fufi told her about mahid and Nazia. She actually got what she wanted and thus used it as he wants.

He has like pile of responsibility, wipe the bad name on his head which he thinks was his mother's fault. With that enormous mental pressure which he can't control. Now Seher is a plus. With her comes Kawsarm , seeing her daughter's action she blames Mahid...as her daughter is a child to her. Now she becomes another extra headache. Now Mahid calls for next trouble ...Nazima. If they marry according to Muslim law he can't pretend as her husband but not fulfill husband's duty. He has to. If he was an ordinary Muslim boy...okay ..Chalo. But he is pious. How can he deny Nazima after marriage? Pretending after saying Kalema? Qabool?That will a sin. Pretending husband wife if not married properly will be another worse sin. The guy is already a psychological patient. His brain is going to burst very soon.

What's to Seher? When did they promise anything? Nazima was there she knew it. She didn't even ask a clarification from Mahid after seeing them close. Just one sidedly blaming him and creating such a scene that her mother is actually torturing Mahid.

More than other I am feeling bad for Mahidm No matter what path he takes he is the sinner, the criminal.... although he is a victim here. Poor Mahid.

When she was shot and in hospital bed Mahid didn't allow Seher to stay with her mother at hospital , where he was shedding tears and etc for his dadajaan. That was so cruel of Mahid. He hates all mothers because of his own mother. And also the teaching his family gave. To him Kawsar is a villain who teaches only wrong to Seher. To him Kawsar is an evil woman.

Now the way he behaved with Kawsar he is getting that back. Nafrat vs nafrat. Hate vs hate.

Sp no mother in law will ever like a son in law like Mahid. Even Father in laws will not like him. All FIL MIL wants a caring, funny, obedient, humble, cute , kind , happy, entertaining son in law. That's a fact. Mahid has none of these. Except his family name and money he is a short tempered abusive man who beats brutally people at street. Police sends him to psychiatrist. Why will anyone like him?

I absolutely disagree that they shouldn't love. I agree Mahid has a lot on his shoulders, things that have thrust upon since he was young. That said I 100% believe having someone who understands you and with whom you can share your thoughts and pain with is a positive thing. Mahid has never shared the pain of loosing his mother the way he shared with Seher.

I also don't think Mahid has ever thought of Seher as a headache. You portrayed Mahid's life with all these headaches and stress then it helps to have someone to talk to even if it just to destress. Mahid opens up to Seher like he doesn't to anyone.

Yes I agree Seher comes with Kausar but at some point Kausar will see the Mahid Seher sees and can be part of his support system.

As for him being a mental patient, I don't think he is insane but he definitely has PTSD. Anyone would if they witnessed their mother jumping to death. His trauma was never treated and the Niyazis have tainted all memories of Gazala as bad which is why anything associated with her even if it was happy triggers such a harsh reaction from Mahid.

So in the end, I think they do love each and should be together but they are each other's strength not weakness.

Mahid's reaction to Kausar bringing kebab was the reaction of his PTSD. It has nothing to do with Kausar or Seher.

He had minimal interaction with Kausar till after the wedding. Yes he did tell her after the wedding to stay away from Seher because anytime Seher was with Kausar she got herself in trouble or they were running.

As for the hospital scene, Mahid NEVER told Kausar to stay away from Seher. It was Kausar who went to get her blood tested and when it didn't match she was wandering the streets. By the time she came back the whole magician trying to kill Seher was over. And when she came back he left.

Mahid has never been disrestpectful to Kausar. She sees him like all the men who are like Parvez. Even though he has defended and lied to his family for Seher and Kausar. I understand her mistrust but she never made an effort to know him on a basic human level and she never listened to Seher when she told her how he treated her.

Kausar warned Seher several times about Seher possibly getting attracted to Mahid and thats what happene. Pretty sure she is aware that Mahid still has some feelings for Seher too but she still assumes he loves Nazima more. I dont agree with all she said

but I get why she doesnt trust Mahid fully.

Maybe at one time she wasnt as concerned until Fupijaan lied to her about Mahid and Nazima, and Kausar thought Seher’s fate is like hers with Mahid being Parvez and Nazima being Safia.

However one thing she seems to be aware that Mahid has humanity but Parvez doesn’t and thats why Mahid often saves and helps Seher.

I am actually very concerned about his mental health. His situation is worse than Seher. Injustice to Seher for being married at 16, but luckily she has a supportive mom to give her moral boost. But Mahid will go crazy the way things are going for him. He has no one. No one! He was never ready for marriage not until he gets over his trauma but it happened.

The Gazala(Mahid mom) track can go either ways either it will be really good or really bad. Seems like Mahid will find out the real cause behind his mom’s depression and death, and to ensure Seher doesnt face the same fate he will push her further from him.

@bold I genuinely feel so sorry for Mahid. If he chooses love, he is gonna be termed as a groomer and it will violate his principles. But if he chooses principle, it will worsen his mental health as he will have to get over another pain of losing Seher. He already is traumatized by losing his mom and when he got married to Seher, he kept close eye on her often fearing she will elope too! The way he kept eye on Seher initially after they got married was not normal at all!

Mahid and Kausar have a lot of conflicts with each other but I actually love both these characters a lot I like Kausar a bit more because I am all in for education and self-independence over love and marriage. Her methods might not be the best but her intentions are not bad. Finally an ITV mom who is like go “focus on your studies instead of your husband” instead of “your husband is your everything, you should sacrifice for him!”We need more ITV moms like her!!

Mahid on other hand a complex but very interesting character. Whoever wrote his character I would say is a silent genius. He is not like the perfect husband but he is not evil either, because in real life no one is that perfect, its more realistic. I loved how he did not have to magically be on board with Seher’s dreams but instead gradually understood why Seher’s dreams was important for her! Usually ITV guys are very mahaan when it comes to family and forgive them no matter what, but Nahid is different. He is the rare guy who is mahaan for his wife but I love how he gave it back to Nazima and Fupijaan.

Now I get why A-listers like Mahi and Parth did this show even though the title role wasnt about their characters.

@red. I guess you missed those episodes when Kawsar was shot( bullet). He didn't let Seher see her mother or stay with Kawsar. Instead he took her to home where Phupi insulted Seher. Phupi was more important to him than a woman in bed, who gave birth to that girl named Seher. One side dada was dying another side Kawsar was hurt. He should have stayed at hospital whole night taking care of dada and mother in law like every good man does

@ green. Mahid is actually disrespectful to everyone out of his family. He has zero respect for the contribution of a mother. Every time Kawsar tried to meet Seher he was there stopping or interrupting. Even at that walima day he was almost denied Kawsar's contribution. He doesn't respect Kawsar. Or else when Kawsar was dying at the hospital after that shot under Parvez's misbehave he would not drag Seher home. Whatever his mental health is ...while world is not responsible. Sp not Kawsar. His mom killed herself, his issue. That doesn't mean he is clean .

Yes I am sympathized to Mahid as I know his problem. But not going to support his misbehaviors. He is violent, rude and self centred too. If it was someone else instead of dada, Nazima or Phupi most probably he would break their bones for what they did.
