Pardon me if I am blabbering because I stopped watching the show. No updates from usual members also, so whatever I gather is from #mannat tag on X.
I am writing this to explain how ONLY vik's redemption will actual move the story forward. Redemption here is to believe in whatever Mannat says, if not everyone. Otherwise, just exposing ARS, Malla or even Yashika will not serve any purpose.
I read on X that Vik didnt ask proof for the first time and supported Mannat. If this is his present status, will he believe without proofs when Neetu says Dua is his child or will he ask for proof? If he believes Dua is his child out of his newly found redemption to not ask proofs from mannat, then Mannat will HAVE to tell him the truth of DM marriage otherwise she will look silly and stupid. If this happens, what is the relevance of all the villians? DK has to share Dua or turn villain and help in killing the main couple.
If Vik doesnt believe Mannat, Mannat has all reasons to hide the truth. Neetu cant help here anymore because the guy is adamant in not believing. He will order DNA test or snatch Dua, in which case also Mannat will not come back to him or reveal the truth of DM marriage. Then the only way is to expose each villain one by one, but then why will Mannat want Vik if he distrusts her again? Also, if this happens and Vik doesnt trust Mannat, marriage might still stop for a while. Y and gang will definitely falsify DNA reports so then we are back to square one and the marraige SHOULD resume.
. Or Vik will be fighting for Dua but neither Dua or Mannat will choose him, so what is the use?
Given that the makers want to stretch it as much as possible, they will follow path number 2 by making Vik fall lower and lower. If the TRP falls, they will go to path 1, redeem Vik in one go and all the villains will kill off the main couple, DK might die protecting Dua.
Let me know if there is any other way these people can weave the story? I dont think so.
