I am liking the way Mathi has been portrayed so far in Azhagae Azhagu. Her dialogues, demeanor and the way she puts across her points without disrespecting especially Suresh’s parents are awesome. Hope they continue to portray her like that instead of the usual dramatic daughter-in-law. She is also assertive, stubborn and clear in her thought process so far. Hope the writers don’t ruin her like Meena of SA. Let’s see where this goes.

oh wow! I wrote my post before the new promo came out, I am impressed with this new promo. Keeping fingers crossed for such promos and related storyline instead of the usual plotting and planning of MIL and others in the house against the DIL. This is how shows used to be and some even better than this on TV in the 80s and 90s in my childhood and college days in India.
Thanks for sharing. I like the promo but more curious about the outcome to see If she is able to make them all do what she proposes. With all the comments on Baakiyaraj being a great husband, he too did not pick up the food waste or the plate🙄 Even Shruti and Siddharth being younger generation are acting entitled🙄
I also didn’t like how Suresh’s parents went on and on about Mathi to Suresh as of their son is a saint. MIL character is overtaking Vijaya of SA. In this day and age not many put up with this kind of crap. Hope they bring a change in her character soon.
