Ranveer is miles ahead of both in terms of box office obviously and the range of acting from Ranveer is also incomparable to Ranbir. Ranbir was beyond abysmal in TJMM.

Vicky is a good actor but how many clean hits does he even have to his name in the eleven years since he debuted?

why is Vicky's box office so important to you?, does box office take away anthing from his performances and his movies. do his movies and performances become bad all of a sudden just because his box office record isn't the best.

Yeah I understand that it was not perfect... but I remembered loving it immensely on my first watch.. after that I have seen that movie 4-5 times and I still like it a lot....❤️

All eras are over.

Now any actor can have big blockbuster and also have a disaster.

With gen z and alpha , going away from long format of viewing ,only selected movies would hit and become successful.

Others will go to stream or just flop on box office

We might see end of theatre buisness in next 20-30 years

Vicky Kaushal’s box office is not important to me. 😊 I don’t feel the need to carry this conversation any further forward.

We’ve been hearing for over a decade that the “new generation” will take over and yet, here we are. At this point, they’re not even new anymore. The truth is, the era of the traditional superstar is fading. Audiences today don’t show up just because of who’s in a film, they show up if the story feels worth their time and money. Star power alone isn’t enough anymore. If a film doesn’t look appealing, people simply won’t go to the theater. And with the rise of OTT platforms, there’s always the option to wait and watch it at home. That said, icons like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan will remain superstars regardless of box office numbers. They’ve dominated the industry for decades and have built a legacy that goes beyond individual film performances. However, if we’re being honest, Salman Khan especially needs to start making stronger script choices moving forward.

SRK had quite divers movies in 2023, but now, with King, I hope that he doesn't ride the gore-wave, too... In certain movies after Animal (which I've not watched), some of the violence shown in a v e r y placative way wasn't necessary to bring across the narration of the story -the viewers' imagination got 'underestimated', imo.

SRK has a VFX company and after Ra.ONE which is genuinely loved by Gen Zs minus unnecessary jokes and plots which were added by SRK

What did he do? He made a clone of himself with FAN then turned himself into a dwarf then to justify budget again, they had to add that ridiculous end

Point is that, he could have easily used that money and VFX to create a different world for Sci-FI or historical movies but he ruined it

Now after Pathaan, Jawan...he is doing King

He could have easily chosen a fantasy world as debut of Suhana, Indian history and texts have so many stories but he is chasing same thing

They don't have imagination, they don't want to reinvent or experiment

Audience is watching spectacle, a historical drama like Bahubali would have been a spectacle but is he interested?
