I actually low-key loved Thursday’s episode! This show has a serious inconsistency when it comes to producing good episodes. Like as mentioned by @rdave1, the tone is so different in each episode The Wednesday episode was bad but Thurs one was good. I m really glad I got to watch a good episode of this show on Eid night

Mahid quietly helped Seher and she reached the venue on time, even made excuse on her behalf when Fupijaan asked where was Seher. I liked he gave Seher a pen and said she considers him Jinn Ka Bhatija but the pen won't write by itself but she has to write it herself . The dialogues of this episode were simple yet beautifully written. Also did Mahid change his hairstyle otw to Seher’s exam hall

Though I am Kausar supporter but she was wrong in this episode. She overreacted when Seher finished her paper early. Seher even got extra sheet! The Precap on Wed Epi was misleading as if Seher didn't finish her paper for Mahid but she actually did Thank god I was starting to worry she will forget about her dreams 💀

I can see why Kausar is so protective of Seher. And her fear that Seher will forget her goals in the honeymoon glow. But she needs to give Seher space. For all these years the duo had a tight bond with no place for an outsider. No favorite teacher or best friend for Seher. Kausar is very possessive. Any man who marries an adult Seher has to yield to a possessive Kausar.

But 16 is the age when teenagers start to rebel against their parents. They see that sometimes the parents' experiences and prejudices (while valid) need not be adopted in their own life forward. Times have changed. They are different individuals and it's perfectly valid to react differently. Like people or philosophies which your parents don't. Sixteen is the start of experiencing your own life as you realise that your parents can't protect you from everything life throws at you.

I loved what you said. I too have said something similar that no matter who marries Seher, Kausar isn't going to like them. Possessive is good word. I said before even if Mahid took a bullet for her (which he did save her from) she wouldn't trust him.

Her child is growing up and whether by choice not she is married; she is trying to fulfill both of those roles. She wants to become a doctor and she will but she also knows that just as she was bystander in this marriage agreement so was Mahid; at least he asked her if she wanted this marriage.

I haven't watched today's episode yet but it looks like they are sparing us any heartache this Eid.

The pen scene was funny and I'm starting to think Mahid is jealous of her books. The car scenes where she is studying he just glares at the books. Poor baby not getting attention from Biwi. 😂

The last few precaps have been misleading including the promo. I do love that they defend each other in front of their families just not when the other is around so it creates misunderstandings between them.

Seher father caught his second daughter without knowing.

The doctor tried to lie to kauther. By saying Monira died. But he confessed without knowing (I don't know if kauther herd him)

March 20th Episode

It was comical Eid special today. Mahid has really learned how to be a proper typical husband. Haven't been married a month and he is already hiding from her. LOL . The shoe hitting him was too funny. Seher keeps him on his toes and brings joy in his life.

Phufi was so sweet today with the nazar and all. Too bad she had something to do with his mom's death.

Can we get rid of Nazima? She brings absolutely no value any time she is on screen.

I hope Parvez goes to jail. You can't just lock someone in your house. He is a horrible human being. He can have Wasim as his cell mate. A wanna be mufti who resorts to criminal activity. Gross.

Kausar has to be the most divisive character on this show. I saw one clip and I agreed with her about how Mahid "doesn't" defend Seher in front his family. Granted inaccurate statement on her part because he does and just because she isn't there to witness it doesn't mean it doesn't happen. His conversation with Phufi is a prime example.

I've always tried to her the benefit of doubt because of how her married life has been, she compares all with the same glasses. Well except Dr. Fareed; she trusts him blindly even though she barely knows him but she can she his kindness but not Mahid's. How many times she done things with Seher (running away, etc) and he has ALWAYS covered for Seher. He has lied to his family for Seher. Even if he does something like dropping her for her exam, she is trying find why he would do this? As far as Kausar is concerned Mahid is a villain and she refuses to see anything beyond that or change her view. My question is why does she lie to Parvez about Seher studying? Because she knows he will stop her SO may be Mahid isn't telling his family because like Parvez they will be against it BUT that doesn't mean he is.

Plus that Kausar voice over towards the end. I'm worried she will do one of her stupid shenanigans and it will just create more problems. She is going to end up breaking her own daughter's heart.

His khutba proved that he will be a progressive mufti. He will be the thread that connects the traditional to the modern. I can 100% see him supporting education for girls. I loved that at least the people were currently willing to accept how he will be as mufti.

It's cute to see how he instantly connected Chachjaan to Seher's house. He was distracted and I literally said out, you focus on you, wifey has got this. And our girl did, exam done and we know she will top it and this kabab drama averted.

Curious to see this whole will be her fault next week. I can watch Maher nok jhok romance all day but it's last they can't decide what direction the show needs to go now. May be TRP went up during the honeymoon track so I can see them pushing the romance because let's be honest we are here for Maher. But that promo from last week has me holding my breath waiting for the proverbial other shoe to drop because when it does it's going to hurt. I have a bad feeling Mahid will make himself the villain for Seher so she can be free. 😢 Still holding out hope they are in cahoots together though, imagine the fun they could have. lol

Just watched Fri’s episode and I do like the comical scenes between MaHer but since they already showed a promo it's time to show what’s about the promo like how Mahid finds out about Seher’s age!

Also MaHer looked so fresh as a couple in that scene when Mahid unveils Seher’s cover this scene should have been reserved for post leap! Like Mahid with new hairstyle and Seher with open hair this should have been the first MaHer meet after the leap

bruh the scene where Mahid uncovers Seher’s fake uncle look reminded me of Dhurandar 2’s interval

March 23rd Episode

Seher was on FIRE today! We saw a range of emotions from annoyance and hurt to just plain old pissed off. She even owned her previous mistakes. I loved her point that a strange woman accused her; he believed her over word his wife's.

The decloaking scene was awesome. Today he put together the Chachajaan from before was her too. Seher was just calling out Mahid on all his bull today. Tell you neck stop turning towards me. lol

What is this new taking your clothes off in front of your only in name wife lately Mr. Niyazi?

When she tells him she was thinking of him during the exam and finished early so she could warn him; you see Mahid's eyes soften then the questions he asks himself. Please Mahid follow that process. The math just doesn't add up.

But his recent anger takes over seconds later and he accuses her again; you could see the hurt in Seher's eyes. You know the saying it's the people you love that can hurt you the most. Then she just got real mad and I'm so proud of her not taking it quietly.

The food fight was lovely. We gotta teach our boy what a food fight is because caressing your wife's face with Dahi changes the whole scene. lol. How interesting that all of Lucknow is afraid of him and he doesn't stand a chance in front of this 5ft firecracker. LMAO

It's good to see them so carefree with other even when they are mad at each other because somewhere underneath it all they know it's their safe space.

This show does parallels like... a chef's kiss. Mahid is always pulling Seher and we got see him being pulled. And her protecting his head when they are hiding. They are too cute.

Chachjaan now knows Seher is the one that ruined his plan so I'm sure this whole debacle will be proven to be her fault in front of Mahid.

Why is Parvez not in jail? It was a great opportunity to get him out of your life Kausar. Dr. Fareed was also on fire today.

Someone please explain why a bedroom is not personal space. It's most people sanctuary and oasis. I was so happy to see the door was being closed and locked in Maher's room recently. The whole phone in their room is absolutely disgusting; gives me the eeks.

Can you imagine the things that phone can record if these babies weren't in their current situation. I hope Mahid finds the phone but we know Seher will and somehow that will be her fault too.

The precap is oh boy! You can see Seher trying to warn him about the split bed but Mahid needs to clean those cobwebs from his head and start thinking again.

Also hoping we get to see the reverse of the walima scene tomorrow because you know parallels. 😊
