Nice joke.. made me laugh..
Population is still increasing.. people are procreating faster despite war or terror or whatever that’s going on..
P.S. Seeing war happening among countries, seeing common people suffering, sometimes I feel, I shouldn’t have had my 2 children.. I have brought them in this world wherein they'll have fight for natural resources.. or they would have to try living like stone age people..
I think the main issue is that, in the modern era post WWII, the world has become relatively more stable and peaceful compared to Previous centuries, when people frequently died due to wars, diseases, famines nd other harsh conditions.
Today, the overall quality of life has improved significantly. Even though birth rates have declined compared to the past, advancements in healthcare, technology and living standards have drastically reduced death rates. As a result, more people are surviving longer, which has led to rapid population growth because births still outnumber deaths.
While this is positive in many ways, it also raises concerns. We may be approaching a point where the earth struggles to sustain such a large population. Resources like food, water and energy will become insufficient, potentially leading to increased competition, wars and large scale crises.
