I agree that many practices in Islam also doesn't fit in today's world n it does needs to be adapted for betterment of its own people. The religion is also misused highly for political gains all over the world.

One of my friend a funny person was saying we do not have sthridhan/dowry , we give mehr to woman to marry her. we respect woman. arre funny guy why would any guardian in their right mind pay sthridhan to a polygamist. sthridhan (though its not a good practice) was given by parents of bride to groom to look after her till the death. to take care of her as they took care of their daughter. Earlier days women were not so educated therefore this was their idea of balancing.

However sthridhan is not good as men and women are equal but islamists bringing this is funny. polygamists, muta marriage practitioners , divorcing women simply saying talaq three times as if women are some commodity.

The "breast tax" (mulakkaram) was a social practice tied to caste-based discrimination in parts of Kerala, not a tenet or doctrine of Hinduism as a religion. Nice try jihadi.
