Regarding the safety aspect, it is related to the fitna of Dajjal.

Umrah it has been removed, Hajj still has that rule baring some exceptions..

1. Protection and Safety: The primary reason is to protect women from potential dangers, harm, and harassment during journeys, especially in uncertain or dangerous environments.

Assistance with Hardship: Travel can be physically demanding. A mahram is expected to take care of the woman’s needs and handle difficult situations.

Preventing Harassment/Temptation: It is a preventative measure against unwanted attention, unethical advances, or situations that could lead to "fitnah" (strife or corruption).

Preventing False Accusations: It protects a woman’s reputation from slander or scandal, ensuring her honor is maintained while traveling.

Because of these reasons it's strongly advisable, likewise jaisey mostly logo ke parents careful hotey hn ke unky bachy akely na jaye aur kisi problem me na parjye.

2. Narrated Anas bin Malik:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "There will be no town which Ad-Dajjal will not enter except Mecca and Medina, and there will be no entrance (road) (of both Mecca and Medina) but the angels will be standing in rows guarding it against him.

Sahih al-Bukhari 1881

It is related to Anti-christ Dajjal so you may research about it.

This all seems to treat women as inferior beings (adult women are not same as children as you implied)

So you are ok with all of this and women being treated as inferior ?

For safest place on earth - do you think if i write something like “from today onward Nagpur will be the safest place on earth and all my angels will protect it” - it will become safe because I wrote it ? I am not saying it’s unsafe. But words on paper can’t protect or make anything safe - no ?
I honestly thought that it has an iron dome defense or something like that.

Actually, there is a difference of opinion here. Nowadays, females are going in groups but with regards to allowance in religion, it is still recommended to have a mahram. But again, this differentiate amongst various school of thoughts too.

As of 2026, Saudi regulations allow women of all ages to perform Hajj without a mahram (male guardian), provided they join an organized, safe group or female-only travel package. While traditional interpretations require a mahram, modern scholarly opinions, particularly within the Shafi'i and Maliki schools, permit travel with trusted female company

yes exactly female company (group of at least 4 women) A girl can't still go with her mother and her cousin (say mother's nephew) that's what I said excluding exception it's not allowed.

Thing is there shouldn't be such restrictions at all

My argument there is, what's the actual purpose of fighting? Why can't mutual agreement or reconciliation be possible?

No, it's not all right to fight at all. The best way to tackle arguments is to listen carefully, understand each other's points, and find a mutual solution.

Ghar me bhi to siblings me jhagra hojata hai but iska ye matlab nahi apas me ek doosrey ko marey. Our parents always try to resolve issues, so bas jo countries ke conflict hain that needs to be solved. Ukraine and Russia, both are non-Muslim countries but fighting too. China vs Taiwan alag side per, dunya ka koi kona clear nahi.

That indicates har koi dunya me bas lad raha hai.

Nothing is making women inferior here. It is all about the safety and protection. But yeah, everyone can perceived differently. It is fine.

Secondly, this is what it is. If you don't believe then don't challenge please. I am not someone who has extensive and thorough research in this matter.

So women are not only treated as inferior but even her mother and cousin aren’t supposed to be able to be a woman’s protectors ?

Women are really considered so inferior is extremely sad.

Did I tell you that when I was out a few days ago in my shorts and Tshirt with a lot of water in my hand - I couldn’t handle the heat. Right by me, 2 women walked by in head to toe burqa. I was feeling so sorry for their plight. The guys with them were of course not as overly dressed in the severe hot weather.

it’s enforcing all this and far worse in Iran that has made them an Islamic extremist regime and hence the war.

as I said except some exceptions. it's only for large groups(at least 4 people) with no male member and only when they don't have any Mehram.

If it is ending Islamic extremism and terrorism as they have stated - say that and try to at least explain what that means vs all the different rhetorics. It’s not like the world isn’t interested in getting rid of the problem (the row outside of Islamic exteemists and supporters)!

based on what happens next week, i am thinking of exiting markets temporarily for potential larger dips / corrections and re enter a few weeks later at lower levels

Stock expert spotted 😅

Unka kya hoga jinky pass no investment left to enter the market again 😥

Women in Islam are regarded as spiritually equal to men, with recognized rights to education, property ownership, marriage consent, and inheritance, established by the Quran. While cultural practices vary widely, Islamic teachings emphasize a balanced, often complementary role within family and society, where mothers and women are highly honored.

Iran is btw very strict in enforcing hijab but other countries are lenient. Some don't do but some practice as per there wish.

For eg: I don't, but my little sister does, and we got the same teachings from our parents, so it's individual perception.
