Imo, the main problem is (relative to Islamic extremism now and Christian violent expansion in former times), that the modern world still allows that belief systems become political systems... (actually, following the history of mankind, at some point, almost every belief system was misused as a political one)

However, I maintain, that the current war is n o t a war against Islamic extremism (which only serves as a front but became the main discussion point here in both the threads about the war) - and no digs (almost exclusively done by one allegedly new member) can change my impression of a (personal) campaign by just looking at the overwhelming amount of orange "C" posts since page 29, first thread. (which isn't an insult but just stating a fact one can verify).

@ Nathu dear, you know what would make me happy? That you stop to vaste your intelligence on hate (which doesn't change anything) - not even thousands of accusating posts about Islamic extremism and Pakistan nurturing terror groups will bring a change, neither does the blind accusation of members of all kind of things they aren't.

@Cynical1 - Charlie Hebdo?... no - at least when I go with your posts....(the old Hara-Kiri and Charlie Hebdo belong to my preferred satirical magazines - I don't know how much you know of them besides the nefarious killings)

Blah blah blah. Not worth replying. You can ignore the mass slayings by Islamic extremism regime and still say the war is not about that.

I am not surprised he was bookmarked for you. After all a fatwa was issued. I don’t expect anyone from your ecosystem to understand when I say “I am Charlie Hebdo” and what it signifies. Otherwise he would be alive today.

They don’t understand that Hitler prosecution amounts to nothing when you total up the killings of minorities by Syria, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Palestine, Iran and so many other places and then add to that the terrorist actions by the Islamic extremism.

Despite all the proof your friend Clochette thinks this or other wars aren’t against Islamic terrorism. And she is on a rant saying this topic is about hate when in fact it isn’t. It’s about revealing the hate and violence that Islamic extremism / terrorist has brought and is bringing to the world.

That's what I maintained all along (being vehemently against) - that a religion is used as a political system...

Hitler is another case as he didn't made Christianism a political base of his government... h i s base was the 'Aryan supremacy' (albeit he physically - and most probably also with Jewish genes - wasn't his propagated example of an Aryan)... he made the Jews the 'Enemy-image' for various reasons/agendas, also used the mentally ill ones and unwanted children as fodder for abominable medical experiments... he duped the youth into his thinking (which got supported by greedy people, the SS agency of surveillance = terror and a well-crafted, manipulating propaganda) and then he wanted territorial expansion...

In different ways, history repeats itself - constantly... because humans are made with a 'default in their machine'...

Hate for hateful things is good IMO.

And unlike you trying to change others I believe in changing myself... Adapting for survival.

These posts do make a change. People are increasingly becoming more aware of the danger. Preventing an accident is better than meeting an accident and then getting treatment. One just needs to become aware, change oneself & adapt rather than trying to change the whole world which has very thin chances of success.

Hence i will say that your happiness too is in your own hands. Stop trying to change others (like me) and instead change yourself. That's easier and more efficient way of being happy.

Finally thanks for patronizing me about my intelligence but I'm pretty sure I'm making good use of it.
