Some policies can’t be implemented that they have on their wish list due to numbers need in parliament and rajya sabha. People need to give them the mandate they need to make bigger structural reforms. I won’t get into details here on that

There were a few reasons why they didn't get sufficient seats, in UP especially Ayodhya during last loksabha elections and in trying to appease those lost voters they are alienating their loyal time tested supporters.... They need to strike a balance instead of doing gross Appeasement to get a section's votes. This disbalance may get them a few lost votes but may also cost them many previously guaranteed votes.

We Indians are pretty good at adapting and jugads so I know we'll manage somehow but initially, during shortages, things will go pretty wild like we saw during lpg shortage few days back.

I have never heard of Pakistan style riots in India. Even during ration shop days of my grandparents. Of course we didn’t have any during Covid either. So I am not inclined to go down that path.

My parents and grandparents have been sharing storiies with me on how they managed with ration shops and ration cards and alternate cooking means when they ran out of cylinder and waited for next one for days as they were only allowed one. That is our heritage. So while we might have not lived through that I have full faith in us that we will not go there

Why compare us to the largest state sponsor of terrorism in the world and what happens there.

I am sure there are reasons. They even lost Ayodhya seat. People will need to decide at next one if they want some key changes what they need to do for number of seats. Otherwise some problems they want won’t be solved because those laws can’t be passed.

Congress should be winning close to zero. Pappu won 2. Priyanka also won. Complete waste of seats and space.

Are you forgetting about the 'largely peaceful majority' that you say, who are living in India?

Anyways, jokes aside i didn't mean riots when i said fight. I meant the fight (as in efforts) to secure essentials. Long lines, hustle and waiting times...

What if GC Start thinking like that too.

I for sure am not going to vote for Congress in any condition. The most I'll do to register my disapproval would be to refrain from voting or Nota. I'm still giving vote to BJP in UP vidhan sabha elections only and only for Yogi baba.

Haa random incidents ho saktey hain.

I like how government has been after black marketeers for LPG cylinders. Some renowned restaurants (meaning also lots of money and influence) have shut which makes me think that as of now the process is being followed with less (never zero) favoritism and influence for short supplies

💯 .I may sound classist but issue here is people who are financially well settled have taken up no kids policy or one kid policy but people who are poor are multiplying even though they cant feed even 1 ..minorities on the other hand are getting everything for free and are multiplying with the intention to safeguard their population..it is so complex ..

Now Chandrababu naidu has announced 20k+ for 3rd child ..i know they are doing to stop demographic decline in future but for now who do you think will opt for it..

For being eligible for The Ayushman card the family needs to have atleast 6 members. Who do you think are benefiting the most from it

population control bill and UCC are urgently required but it might cost them some votes so instead of those they bring UGC to tap votes they lost in last election.

I have heard this debate on NOTA with my friends. It’s a valid strategy. The main reason it backfires is because of low voting % by Hindus vs the rest of the communities. It leads to results that cause more harm then good as a result of loss of seats.

My compromise is give the party one chance with the seats they need. I am not saying to do it every election. They need that chance to either make good (which they have time and again on many things not everything).

Yogiji definitely deserves your vote. I have been to UP. The state before him had become a horror show in many ways. Also remember it was Modiji who showed his faith in him when Yogiji became CM also.
