Was out last night watching Dhurandhar 2 and finally saw the episode today.

Karan definitely called Gautam to get him to convince Tulsi to come back home. I know we didn’t hear their conversation today but it seems like they will give us a rundown later.

Karan killed a lot of birds with one stone. He got his mom to agree to come home, he got Gautam to do it so that Gautam’s insecurities can be assuaged regarding how he feels less loved than all the other siblings combined; Karan gave Gautam this opportunity to both test how he’s their mom’s most beloved child even though he doesn’t think so and also I believe he asked Gautam to do this to ease his own guilt. We already know Gautam was crying buckets as he got late to stop the divorce between his parents. Tulsi agreeing to Gautam’s demand gave him the validation he needed and was desperately seeking - his mom loves him; enough to forsake her pride and self respect if that’s what makes him happy because her love for him is greater than anything else she feels or knows. Gautam got a chance to feel redeemed for failing to stop the divorce and for his lapse of judgment that led to him accepting the offer made by Noina in the first place.

Karan proved he’s the child who knows Tulsi the best. By not coming to the forefront he also proved that acts of care are not about taking credit - it’s sometimes about letting someone else shine and soak in the sun.

Karan never intended to replace Gautam in the family as it is - he just wanted to feel included and like he belonged there.

I really wanna watch the scene where Gautam gets the credit for doing the impossible and being the saviour yet again; wherein he reveals he may have been the doer but the plan was Karan’s all along. How Karan reached out to him and used his own guilt as well as need to know if their mom loves him or not that cracked the code. How he was able to realise that Gautam was the only one with the leverage to get Tulsi to do what everyone else failed at even if it meant emotionally blackmailing her.

To me, the part where she tells Gautam he’s just like her hits him the most. His eyes and face tell you how it means the world to him that amongst all the children she has his mom feels he’s the one most like her because she thinks he’s being selfless even when he’s angry, hurt and upset. To Gautam that’s perhaps more important than hearing Tulsi telling him I love you a million times over because he knows who she is and what she means to everyone. For her to place him on that pedestal is actually more than he could’ve imagined but everything he perhaps always wanted. Like Tulsi, Gautam has a habit of bottling things up deep within and so he feels seen, heard, understood and most importantly loved for who he is perhaps by the only person whose love means the most to him.

I wanna see Gautam acknowledge how he feels angry that Karan figured out how to use even his anger and frustration with the family and particularly him to the family’s benefit. But he can’t even be mad at him about it as it made him feel special and loved by their mom and allowed him to feel less guilty. How that makes Karan exactly the worst and the best brother to have in the world at the same time. He lets you take the win without taking the credit, yet you know the flowers coming your way are courtesy of him. You want those flowers so badly but you also wanna throw the bouquet at him because how dare he take away the anger and grudges that were holding him together like glue and tape hold a piece of paper falling apart.

I hope they give us something regarding this.

I think the best part about the Munni Hrithik track now is that she’s shown overthinking everything in hindsight. It’s actually a very realistic depiction of what happens when we rush into a relationship even if we think we know someone well enough. The fact that they had no clear communication and didn’t iron out their past differences or air their grievances to each other allowed Mittali to make this move and succeed in it.

Crazy how Mittali is not concerned about losing her daughter’s love but thinks she can wreck this marriage. We know that with open dialogue these will be gone.

Noina’s last wish is hilariously along the lines of expectations even if she’s genuinely dying. It doesn’t matter to her if she stands exposed she wants to capitalise on her illness too to get one last win over Tulsi if she can and get the official title of Mrs Mihir Virani even if she were not to survive a whole 24 hours after she gets hitched to Mihir.

Tulsi may feel like she can’t take back Mihir again after everything so might as well fulfil a dying woman’s last wish as it is, Mihir did give her the position that belonged to her in all but name for 6 years in her absence. So if he were to make it official and marry her now, for however long she has it doesn’t make a difference to her as she’s already been divorced and humiliated before it.

The question isn’t if Noina is faking it or not, but if Mihir would be an emotional fool again to get persuaded by the pleas to marry her regardless of who makes it to him. He should fight Tulsi if she compels him as that’s his right. He has been subjected to mental, emotional, psychological torture by that woman’s lies as not only did he lose his wife - he lost his dignity, self respect and felt humiliated in front of his grown up kids and grandkids. He refuses to be a scapegoat for the woman who would put him through this agony even for a moment. Humanity, kindness etc are all good qualities but there’s a point where people don’t deserve them and Noina has crossed the line many times over.

Makers - stop the promo track. Don’t ruin Tulsi’s character. Only way the promo track can be fine if Noina is pretending to have cancer. Stop this sympathy drama for Noina
