I’m not a fan of Rithik’s character but he was caught in a genuine fix. But he should have confessed this to Munni before marriage.

But Mitali can only threaten Rithik. She can't pass judgement about Timsi's custody. Mitali provoked Rithik and he gave in to her trap. yeah I agree, Rithik should have told Munni about this to avoid any misunderstandings in future.

If your parents favour your sibling then you will develop a dislike for the sibling. Also Gautam feels that Karan is intentionally trying to belittle him on every occasion which is not the actual case. Karan might have asked Tulsi not to give preferential treatment to him but subconsciously Tulsi was being careful with her treatment to Karan so that he does not feel like a step child. Staying alone in chawl has helped Tulsi to ponder over these things and realize where she went wrong.

Not just the Mandira thing, but also the fact that during Ansh episode she misjudged Karan thinking Mandira's son could only be a homewrecker, so unconsciously she was also correcting for that.

I am saying from the makers perspective, as someone else also pointed out, Karan in this season is a supporting character, while Gautam track has been made keeping him central, now since that is the case Karan is coming up genuinely as someone who is latching onto Guatam's parents and riling up his insecurities. Like a white moonlight,,,

Had Karan or Hiten be out of the show now, this wouldn't have seemed that bad (like when Gautam came first), but right now it is clearly Gautam being uplifted at the cost Karan's character, that is something I am not liking (since that hits my S1 heart)

Makers should have either made Karan not in the show right now, or else they should have paid heed on both Gautam and Karan equally so as the audience feel they are both right in their sense

Not telling Munni about this was the actual problem

Karan is the most intelligent Virani. He quickly realized that considering the current equation among the family members, at present only Gautam can make Tulsi come back to Shantiniketan. Regardless of the differences , Karan and Gautam still have the subtle brotherhood between them. They won't keep their differences above family.

But there are other points like how Mitali hid her marital status in pageant form. School can validate how careless she has been forgetting to pick the child from school, not attending PTM. Off course if lawyer is Hemant then getting custody for Rithik will be difficult.

She can. Law mostly favours the mother unless she’s happens to be a drug addict/dealer/ abusive, which needs to proved, or mentally unstable/ disturbed. Or if she doesn’t have the financial backing to support the child. Especially India mein mothers are always the first choice. Fathers are always given the second preference. If she cries in front of the judge, custody usko mil jayegi and that’s exactly what Rithik afraid of. She’ll not give a damn about Timsy but use her like a pawn. Bechari bacchi ka khayal bhi nahi rakhegi.

Munni could have always confronted him, aur woh bata deta usse. Bina wajah se she’s letting things fester.
