I although have the issue that they did it at the cost of Karan, I mean Gautam's issues could have been the insecurities, but they are repeatedly bringing and making Karan the cause of it.

No, it would have looked worse if he tried to dodge the question. He needed to stroke Mithali’s ego. If you notice, she was like I’m the mother and courts grant custody to the mother if the child is 5 years old. Woh usko dhamka rahi thi ki.

I’m not a fan of Rithik’s character but he was caught in a genuine fix. But he should have confessed this to Munni before marriage.

He learnt all this from papa Mihir, he also did the same with Tulsi infront of Noina.

Belittling, talking cheaply, always downgrading Tulsi infront of Noina. and praising Noina. His intentions could be anything, but ine should always uphold his spouse in the public.

I seriously didn't likeMihir doing this to Tulsi, neither i like Rithik's this attitude of taken for granted. Meri hi hai na samjh legi, main jo bhi bolu chalega apna raasta nikalne ke liye. Stupidity at it's peak.

Aside Karan was someone who specifically asked Tulsi not to give him special treatment in season 1 as that reminds him of being Mandira's son. It was when Tulsi had asked everyone to stay away from Gujral but Gautam and Karan followed his henchman to get the news of Mihir Tulsi's lost son. When they returned later, Tulsi slapped Gautam and asked Karan to leave, later she apologized to Karan for getting so angry at him while he just came back, then Karan said that his issue wasnt that she scolded but that she didnt slap him like she did to Gautam.

Yes he definitely is. But my problem isn't even that. Kyuki has a huge chunk of characters so not everyone can have importance. Karan had his share of spotlight in S1, but right now he is being made a scapegoat to uplift Gautam, I would have preferred if Karan was simply a side character like say Hemant was preleap. I dont understand why Hiten came just to become scapegoat of character, it is such a hit on memories of S1.

Even preleap it was OK, he came randomly, made his point and returned

If your parents favour your sibling then you will develop a dislike for the sibling. Also Gautam feels that Karan is intentionally trying to belittle him on every occasion which is not the actual case. Karan might have asked Tulsi not to give preferential treatment to him but subconsciously Tulsi was being careful with her treatment to Karan so that he does not feel like a step child. Staying alone in chawl has helped Tulsi to ponder over these things and realize where she went wrong.
