@bold: yeah! They need some time for rest and recuperation after all. IPL is 2 months long and they cannot go back in between. Cricket boards don’t have any consideration for their players kya ?

Capitalism at its peak.Cricket boards are ruthless & very business- minded. They ain't any more thoughtful.

Plus, I think SA & NZ also might want to start training & polishing their next gen bench strength for the next T20 WC cycle that's why started prepping up soon

It was kiwis..so they let go..if it was someone else issue would have escalated for what arshdeep did..

Copy pasting what I wrote a few pages back on this issue.

People forgot that GG himself has been a pretty hot-headed guy.

Even when he was a player, he used to have spat on the field.

Uper se he even did when he was a coach of LSG, when he fought with VK on the ground.

GG himself has been a person who says anything that can be hurting to other party for no reason.

So I am not surprised that he was defending what Arshdeep did.

Yes, you are correct that aggression wasn't needed. It was good that Arshdeep knew he had done wrong and apologized. & Even said in Post match interview that what he did was wrong.
