They are degrading the character of Karan for Gautam. That's something which I am really disliking

Karan was never a grey character. He was introduced as a character who didn't know the truth and felt that his mother and him have been wronged so he came to seek justice. He was introduced as anti family but not as grey.

Gautam was introduced as a grey character who has his heart filled with hatred due to the circumstances.

Both of them had distinct character arc and was a solid breakdown/path

Yes Gautam was later sidelined for Karan but his character was never sacrificed for Karan.

What I am saying is even if that had happened, that was wrong, similarly now it's wrong. Makers can make two equally powerful and correct characters in loggerhead with each other. No need to sacrifice one for other.

You might be liking this because you like Gautam more, but for me it's like a hit on the memories of S1, so I am not liking it.

wnen tulsi believed ansh over karan she even kicked him out sn . Further more when karan wanted to marry nandini after her divorce from ansh mihir was against him and offered no support . Despite all of this karan never once blamed tulsi or mihir , nor did he ever hold a grudge against them. This is the fundamental difference between karan amd gautam.

Just because gautam is a failure his parents preferred karan , it doesn't give him a pass for being so toxic towards karan.

When did I say I see Gautam as better than Karan? I think you aren't getting my issue at all.

My statements are based on the basis of dialogues that was given to both of them yesterday.

the dialogues given to Gautam were very strong and on point. It might have been wrong but it was very clear, while the dialogues of Karan were only "Tu Pagal hai kya" , it was like Karan had no answers to Gautam so he started a personal attack. The showdown should have had both making equally strong points but that didn't happen. Gautam had an upper hand by miles.

Aside the dialogue of Karan that "main Gautam nhi hoon jo itni chhoti si baat ka bura Maan jaon" to Tuhir felt so out of place. Karan of Season 1 or even the pre leap one would have never told that he is better than the other rather shown it by his actions.

I am not liking this degradation of Karan to uplift Gautam is what I am saying

Even yesterday when Nandani said humesha bas apne baare me hi sochte ho, it hit so hard, like Karan was the only person except Tulsi in Kyuki 1 to completely destroy himself for his loved one, now he has been made सेल centred
