Trump has changed his statements at least 5 times on this issue since August 2025. For us it is more of a dignified silence from government.

Most recently US said India has stopped, India showed it never did and the US said we allowed India. Clearly it is for their face saving but no we have to blame Indian government..

There could be some real issues, like not detail shared on how will energy challenge be faced. But I guess they know, GOI will give it, so they are using rhetoric instead

Govt has repeatedly said that india has not stopped buying russian oil and that it does not need america’s permission to trade with any country. This has been clarified through multiple official and media sources. But for some people, facts dont matter. Their only agenda is to make the indian govt look bad as if that will somehow help them win the next election. They would rather believe an orange baboon who changes his statements every other day if it helps them push their narrative.

The hypocrisy becomes even clearer when you look at their past claims. When india was facing tariff threats because of russian oil, these same people were accusing the govt of risking india’s national interest just to benefit ambani, even though ambani owns only 2 refinery out of 23 in india, while most others are govt owned.

But the moment the US claimed that india had stopped buying russian oil, the same people flipped their narrative again and started saying modi had sold india to america, india is a puppet state of america and all the usual nonsense.

In both cases, the reality was different. The only thing consistent is their desperation to twist every situation to attack the govt. With tactics like this, they are not going to win anything, they are only ensuring they remain in opposition for a very long time.

US and Trump are delulu to think that India will ever trust them

Woh bhi over Russia.

Trump is just getting his ego massaged.

2 din baad inki statements badal jaati hain.

Anyone who wants to use their brain knows that India won't be dictated by the US nor will they stop taking oil from Russia. I can be wrong but shayad April tak ka order pehle he kar chuke the hum log.

Trump keeps claiming that india has stopped buying russian oil just to keep his braindead MAGAtard base happy. In reality, india hasnt stopped and has no reason to stop. Russia isnt even revealing the exact volume india is buying, deliberately keeping things ambiguous while trump continues making statements to please his supporters. Meanwhile russian oil keeps flowing to india without any disruption

Shouldnt India clarify on that atleast once ? They keep on yapping about us and shouldnt we reply we havent stopped buying yet ? Why is giving a statement that difficult?

Yes, they can, but the US keeps changing its words every week.

Faltu unper energy waste karne se better, India should care about LPG.

If they keep altering statements it is fine but for once from our end statesmen should clarify the reality .. how they said US did not mediate ceasefire even after repeated claim by US ,give a statement once and for all ..else it just sends a message that India is allowing itself to be bullied..

If im not mistaken, indian govt has already responded to trump’s claims multiple times. They have clearly stated that india does not need america’s permission to buy russian oil and that the purchases have not stopped. The statement didnt come from the PM directly but several ministers have said the same thing. I think jaishankar addressed it as well and there was even an official clarification.

I have seen this reported across multiple sources on reddit and X. But if people still choose to believe that orange baboon over their own govt’s official statements, then what can anyone really say?? When someone lies with every breath, the people pushing propaganda dont even need evidence, they just need trump to say something so they can ignore what the govt has repeatedly clarified.

Answer is present in your question, imo. They are just yapping—heck, they don’t even have a clear stand on why they are still attacking Iran. Why should we waste our energy replying to them? Kehne do jo unhe kehna hai. We don’t have to give them the attention they are desperately vying for.

At every instance they had clarified india don't need anerica's permission to buy russian oil.

US behaves as if India is one of its colonies. Iske liye permission lo, yeh batau, woh batau.

Why should we feel obliged to answer in the first place ? We are the largest democracy in the world — we don’t owe any Tom, Dick and Harry answers, least of all Mr Red faced Trumpet or his minions on X.
