Wish the objective was simply regime change for a more moderate society and be done. Win win solution and Iran can then participate as a moderate country in dealing with Pakistan and Bangladesh in the future with same goals
Alas, this noble reason wasn't and isn't the objective...
They can say anything for their local audience.
We know how it is. India never stopped taking Russian oil and even in February, India imported 21% of its crude oil from there.
Simple as that- actions speak louder than words.
Its not that important "say something" as it is to "do what is right"
India allowed the Iran ships to dock in India the moment request was made.
It was the right thing to do.
I am loving this that India isnt saying anything much in this war, but doing everything right

Dont try to explain this to congress supporters. Most of them already know the facts but they still spread false info just to make the govt look bad. You cant reason with people who were never interested in understanding in the first place so its better to simply ignore them.
There are certain left wing accounts on X that are extremely determined to spread misinfo about the govt and india just to damage the country’s image on the global stage. They seem to believe that doing this will somehow help them win elections but that strategy will only keep them losing. At the very least, they should focus on real issues instead of picking irrelevant topics and making a joke of themselves.

That is true. For some reason they only want India to say something. What is the need? We are doing what we want to.
Trump has changed his statements at least 5 times on this issue since August 2025. For us it is more of a dignified silence from government.
Most recently US said India has stopped, India showed it never did and the US said we allowed India. Clearly it is for their face saving but no we have to blame Indian government..
There could be some real issues, like not detail shared on how will energy challenge be faced. But I guess they know, GOI will give it, so they are using rhetoric instead
India would be wise to maintain strategic silence during this war. Taking sides at such a critical moment could create serious diplomatic and economic complications for the country. At present, India is not in a position to participate in the conflict or extend support to either of the nations involved. A balanced and cautious approach, prioritizing national interests, regional stability, and the safety of its citizens, would be the most responsible path. Remaining neutral while encouraging peace and dialogue is the wiser course in such uncertain times.Originally posted by: FlauntPessimism

In any case, the coming days will be critical for every country, both for the war-mongers and for those who are responding to the conflict. The economic consequences are already looming large, recessionary pressures, stock market turmoil, and serious disruptions in energy, power, gas, and oil supplies are all on the horizon. The repercussions will not remain confined to the battlefield; every industry across the world will feel the shockwaves of this ugly war. The damage will be largely collateral, affecting nations far beyond those directly involved. Unfortunately, the countries engaged in the conflict seem unwilling to recognise the scale of these inevitable consequences.
