I think people will find it difficult to connect with this show :( because the narrative is not in usual itv story format . Bengali viewers are much more open in embracing new stories but Hindi audiences might find it different and alien

This is the sad truth.

I don't mind the idea of Shiv/Parshuram being married, that's quite natural for them to fall in love and get settled. Issue here is the way it's showcasing whole idea. Chintu being a fan boy, ruins scenes where we have focus on Parshuram. Overlap is OK for conflict but there has to be some consistency. But yes, honestly, kids in the family could have been avoided in general.

To me they aren't adding any value to the story, except for getting kidnapped. Sometimes I feel only reason couple are together is because of kids.smiley36

I am big on love stories too but I would have preferred Shalini being more into Parshuram's side than Shiv's side.

He was singing Tujh mein rab dikhta hai todaysmiley42 , no matter how stupid the movie was, it was srk movie so I have to love it, but there is one underlying idea, could Tanni love that boring, innocent man she married surinder or chose fancy lover boy Raj.. similarly it would be really fun to see once Shalini knows the truth, it could be a conflict to understand if she fell in love with simple insurance agent who just melts her with his words, eyes and gestures or would she be able to accept rash, impulsive and aggressive Parshuram. Ultimately, they are contrast. Would she be able to accept that part of Shiv? How would Parshuram try to win her heart? Valentine's day promo can run heresmiley36 but anyways that would be my idea of how Shalini could be relevant to the story.

However, I will keep my hopes low for anything here.

What's AAA? Now coming to writing, I did say it a few days back, there are two major areas of improvement this show requires:

  1. Camera movements/ effects editor
  2. Dialogue writers - for kids and for Dixits specially, but technically all areas of dialogues can be improved. They need to learn art of subtlety like even today, I don't know who pours tea this way to show their dislike for a tea quality, just please put it on the table and also their insults have to be beyond words now. Dixits are boring.

What's AAA? - advocate anjali awasthi - it has same over repeating - low level- dialog garbage and camera movement - made me compare this show to that one.

Integration is the key - this type of shows has different audience - should not try to rack usual TRP viewers.

Ah, that aarti awasthi one that used to air before this one till last week. smiley36Yes, we need better dialogue writers and camera people. Actors in this show makes it bearable, I guess, for whatever mins I watched before this my show starts, that show seemed really weird.

Now, they are airing some different show, which looks very lavish.

I usually follow basic comments on twitter, but honestly, I haven't seen lot of discussion around this show there - I don't know if it's Twitter glitch or because my account is private ; but it has usually been around criticizing different aspect; some I agree, some I disagree and ignore.

The whole concept of lying isn't purely about definition but also about intention! Shiv's lying isn't about wanting to cheat on his wife or family, but just something he has kept hidden from them for whatever reason. I don't think that makes him dishonest person or a bad father smiley36 . I just find all this really funny, but you know what Twitter has been place popular for trolling and nit-picking everything; so I don't even bother defending or saying anything.

As for Shiv's character, I think I have already explained it that in my opinion, he is just not ready to mix up his two lives, yet. His way of dealing stem from Parshuram's identity and his own beliefs about how should common man like him live. So, his behaviour, his actions are all tagged to his beliefs.

But one thing that makers have time and again clarified is that his love for his family is genuine! He loves and relishes every moment with them, and prefers peace as much as he can get in those moments with them, because he knows the moment he steps out that door, the calm and serenity he has within those four walls will be gone the moment he steps out! He has to deal violently, agressively, and has to manage criminals, bosses, and internal villains like that guy who interfered in Babbar's case. So, his wish to not have fights or tantrums while he is with his family is quite understandable.

If anything, and in all honesty, I find his family little over the top, be it Shalini, who seems to really not like peace and is ready with sword to argue and fight (but cry and do nothing when kids get kidnapped) or even kids so many times. They all seem OTT to me, but that's just my opinion. On Social Media, it seems people love their domestic scenes more, which kind of bores me.

Lastly, I hope stop seeking moral and ethics lesson from TV shows, watch for entertainment not for life lessons, we have our real world experiences for it.smiley36

Actually, it's vice versa, this is the genre where intense romance and love shots can be shown as passion and energy would be high, hence most thriller and mysteries have quite stronger scenes. BUT here, they have kids involved on the sets and for viewing, so they have to be wary. I think those minor talks that Shiv-Shalini have in front of kids is max they can go with slight additions of hugs and pecks (Saw some posts on Twitter of part that I missed, I will add them here because it did remind me of another convo we hadsmiley36 here).

So someday in future if kids have day offs, they may shoot some super romantic and passionate sequences, but till then we have to keep low hopes.

I get uncomfortable when they involve kids in their scenes everywhere even when they were about to get physical Pihu was teasing though in an innocent manner....smiley36

And waise bhi I don't think for family show they need to add more....I was shocked when Shalini said bachche so gaye hain let's gosmiley30.....it reminded me of something these stuffs impact kid especially at such a young age...smiley24

Little odd from the flow of show but whether it's violence or making love they should keep kids aside....and be subtle with expression....

Looks like Shiv came from struggles, studied well and landed up as top cop.

He wasn't good in studies Balram taunted when he was asked to meet teachers for Pihu 's low score in unit's exam....

smiley36I would rather take it as a thriller one, and I did mention it elsewhere that I am big on romance, so I am cool with good, Romantic storyline.

But yeah, to me, kids are just nuisance in this show, that sort of ruins most of the scenes where they are involved.

In English shows they don't look odd because kids are used to or trained to see Family dynamics as them, and would never tease or make parents so uncomfortable, specially Shalini seems quite embarassed. I find all those things bit too awkward for kids in this show, and trust me I have seen lot of English shows where kids are just walking around parents having good time, it's just the way makers do all this here is bit weird.

Have it once or twice is fine, but the number of times these people are showing same scene, it's repetitive and uncomfortable.

May be regional thingy because in our places it's quite common to talk to parents about crushes, or witnessing their love normally. Yes some families are orthodox but I never saw talking about love between parents or talking to them about love being awkward or over the top smiley36
