Please read my another big comment post to proof my opinions. Hopefully, I mentioned proper supporting points against my point of view.

They're blindly targeting me without any proper facts. Someone was arguing me here a few days back that 80% of Iranian population is anti-regime and when I asked for the source that silence. A day before yesterday, I met an ethnically Iranian Persian here in Toronto at a gathering and shared all these claims made here with her to verify: So her response:

Out 100%, nearly 7 to 10% is Sunni Arab population there. Other 10% comprised of Persian Jews, Zorrostrains and other religions.

The remaining 80% of the population are Twelver Shia, with nearly 40 to 45% being core practitioners, specifically in religious cities like Isfahan, Mashhad, Qom, and Shiraz. Not all people are ethnically Persian; only 61% are, while the remainder are Azerbaijanis, Kurds, and so on.

And surprisingly, though she agreed that liberal population is there but not 70 to 80% as claimed here. It's hardly 25 to 30% because some Persians really admire their Islamic roots and the great history they owned.

Undeniably, it can't be argued that social media algorithms worked in a certain way to promote certain content, dividing people during this sensitive phase, be it during elections times or these unwanted wars.

Personally speaking, I agree that there is an almost equally considerable population that is against the current regime, as I lived with Iranian girls from 2022 to 2025 and understand their viewpoints, and completely agree with some of their claims too.

Islam is a religion of peace and compassion, whereas these kinds of strong governments have imposed and forced religion on people, which is not acceptable, thus further fueling hatred. Religion cannot be imposed and forced on humans, as it is the heart's desire to deeply comprehend, research the facts mentioned, examine the theoretical claims, and lastly, if both heart and brain find the logic, then you will feel its essence; otherwise, hatred and negativity will overshadow everything.

More and more people are living this primirive cult that suppresses free will and restricts freedom. And 'Islam is a religion of peace' is the greatest lie ever told. No offence. A religion of peace does not teach Fascist ideas and order uprooting of dissent. I request you to read the real history of your own religion. Just a humble request.

Surprisingly, they're allowed to say anything, target one religion and sect when we put the pointer towards them using same language and ideas, then they made fabricated comments. Phely khud to dekh lein kya comment karty hain, doosro ko point out karney se phly.
