The dream scenes of Manvik is only for Manvik fans as the makers know the show is hype by fans so to maintain the hype they gift Manvik lollipop to the fans and it works just see the excitement of the fans. Mukta knows what works.

It doesn’t align with the current narrative at all. On one hand, he is dancing with his GF; the very next moment, he is imagining Mannat and then goes on to accept a wedding proposal. It would have been better to drop that scene entire scene, it feels uncomfortable to watch how poorly the ML character has been written post leap. This doesn’t match Vik’s established traits. He keeps falling for the same manipulative tactics repeatedly, without any character growth or development in his arc. According to the recent BTS, he is even arguing with Mannat about ARS being Arzoo. It seems like his brain rest period isn’t ending anytime soon, and the weak dialogues from the writers only make it worse. Dua once admired him as a chef and drew inspiration from him but now he has been reduced to a pathetic version of himself for her. The story is apparently moving toward his 3 wedding, what explanation will he have when he eventually learns the truth about Y? Once again, it will likely be the same excuse: I didn’t know about her, they have turned him into a joke. What we expected from the makers and what is actually being shown is disappointing. Also, Yami’s sudden exit has disrupted the plot and its execution. Either the proper scenes were never filmed, or the sequence is so disjointed that it fails to make sense of characters thought process.

I’m sure they’ll show Vikrant dreaming of Mannat apologising to him when Yashika’s speech would have certain words which he’d have wanted to hear from Mannat. Then he’ll be in his own trance while Yashika whips out the ring and he’ll probably say yes to something Mannat would’ve mentioned in his dreams but instead would end up agreeing to Yashika’s proposal in reality!

But we all knew that he was going to accept the proposal and we seemed to enjoy the lollipop even though we knew Yashika was going to propose. Did we get overly excited but now the excitement has worn off?

At this point Mannat and Vikrant seem better off in their respective lives. I think i will lose it if Mannat then has to start proving to Vikrant that Arzoo is Aish.

His whole valentine's celebration and proposal seem in bad taste when his mother is on her deathbed.

Mukta and her team is taking Mannat show for granted and seems they are content with 1.4 trp. New show "Taara" is coming up on Star Plus starts on 2nd March at 7.30pm. If this new show does well among the trp audience then Mannat's trp will get affected. It will be an eye opener for the makers and hopefully Mukta's writers improve the storyline.

It’s not about him accepting the proposal. the issue is the inconsistency in the writing. On one hand, he believes Mannat has moved on with DK and has a daughter. He has a GF yet he’s imagining the woman he once loved even though his emotions have supposedly shifted to pain, hurt, and ego. The point is that even the so called lollipop moments serve no purpose. What change are they actually bringing to the equation if, in the very next moment he is going to accept a marriage proposal? He is still clouded by pain, ego, and unresolved emotions. Has Mannat’s situation triggered any reflection in him at all? The problem is not the proposal, it’s the shallow portrayal. Showing such intimacy and longing, and then immediately pairing him with another woman feels inconsistent. What kinda execution.. when he imagines that very person he loved once in other woman? Post leap his character is on rest and no changes. His arc needs growth, introspection about what’s happening around him.. awareness of his own emotions and the ability to stop getting manipulated by the same people and the same tricks repeatedly.
