Have seen the clips. I cannot wait to see the episode, but I am so excited to see the action sequences! It's been so long, that's my whole motivation for the show - Neil in action. I will be back in few minutes.

Wow Andy. Thats exactly how I understood. Makes total sense. I think he lost cool for the first time for his wife. 😅. Well this provocation was well orchestrated by Sheetal and no ordinary. It is like the villains themselves came into his den. 👍

What I loved in Bengali version is that Shivprasad having a growth. There was a one point where Shivprasad was fearless.. he didn't need to be Parshuram to protect his family.

Yup! Also it is not orchestrarted by Sheetal. I thought from the promo and yesterday's episode, she is behind the provocation. Anyways, so it is mostly like the time is ripe, and things started...they were started already but this event might have hit that tipping point. Nice!

I am always clear, I really like Parshuram's character way more. Shivprasad is quite annoying

I loved the way he entered the restaurant, beats-up the guy, and leaves the restaurant spinning the keys was so

And the speech he used to describe today's generation was entertaining, but little OTT.

One thing, I am happy there was no Dixits (I feel like titling them as camera effect family). That made episode more enjoyable.

Storywise -

This constant reinforcing of I am common man needs to come down. Yes, we know Shiv is common man, he is miser, and he is happy with 🌂 But the whole scene in restaurant was little off for me. I can understand not wanting to deal with goons, but then going back as Parshuram. He didn't have to apologize and all. So, somewhere he has revealed his wife and children.

Also, I know we have promo where Shalini says, "I don't know any Parshuram" but I am wondering, if there are any possibility that "Jis Parshuram ne Underworld ko hila kar rakh diya hai", could be Mrs? Like audience and everyone in his team is led to believe it's Shiv, but that's like a misunderstanding and it turns out to be Mes

This is how I think we should approach the story. Andy try to add your perspective from OG version.

Shiv is an undercover cop/agent by his choice. He might or might not have married shalini as part of cover, but now he loves her. He loves his kids. Till now, he was able to manage his double life fairly well. However, he is not prepared for events where his family will be under threat. I think as Andy pointed somewhere here, the restaurant will trigger a chain of events....that will not only risk his cover but also the trust and safety he built in his family. He reached an emotional phase in his life where his family is as important as his job, or a bit more!

I have yet to watch the episode, but looks like he lost control on his anger when the guy badmouthed his wife which forced him to use his gun and Parshuram dialogue in the public. No one around would have understood his dialogue but gun will draw attention. Or if someone records it. Basically, for the first time he risked his cover for his wife. . This is where the story will start if I am correct.

We should not judge him on how he was lying to his wife all along etc. He is a spy. Spies are bound by larger purpose. They WILL lie to keep their cover. Even with their family. Shiv also did the same and he was good at it till now. But now, will he risk his loved ones or not is the main conflict. It will always be a dharma sankat for him whether to keep lying or not. Or tread it carefully without putting his family in danger.

One thing about mystery and thrillers is scope for having some theories. Here are my thoughts

I have no doubt about his love for his kids. I can sense him getting emotional about kids since episode 1, when Chintu asked for a smart phone, when Pihu gave him saree for Shalini, then tears when he spoke to them on phone and all that. I also feel that he truly loves Shalini, even if we minus all the excessive I Love Yous, I am pretty sure he loves her too

But at this point, I genuinely have lot of questions regarding Shalini. Shiv is not only annoying but also the way he doesn't seem to respect Shalini (in some occassions like engagement party, or even today while standing up for her), why does Shalini love him? She is actually embarassed going around with him, he does not seemingly respect her, even today. It's OK if he didn't want to fight today, but apologizing to the guy your wife just gave back to was little disrespectful in my opinion. I will wait for tomorrow's episode to understand Shalini's reaction. So, sometimes I feel she is ignoring these things because she has bigger purpose to stay with Shiv than love.

I have my own doubts on how much do these two Shiv and Shalini love each other, but I am quite sure their love for kids is genuine and real to keep them together.

He did lose his cool, but not till those boys told him that they are willing to pay Shiv for spending night with Shalini. To me, it didn't seem like he went to beat them for real, and had they not said that disgusting thing, he may have left it. But we have in past seen that Parshuram/Shiv has been little careless and reckless. He went on the road firing at the car in middle of the road, he is lazy to pick up calls, and just randomly ends up talking on wrong number (to Pihu instead of reading caller's name); to me this was not something exclusive way of blowing cover but just to move story forward with Sheetal.

As much as I agree about keeping few things confidential and under the cover, I think makers have messed up by keeping the table other-way around. The way he lies to family about his work, indirectly calls them foolish to believe his 2 crore-bima story, and also does not care for Shalini's self-respect does not go well. If he is married, his family shouldn't be his cover but part of a shield. On the contrary, we see him casually picking up calls and talking about his family and family issues in front of bad people, clearly indicating that he has a child and a wife that those bad people can try to locate and target. Family should be absolute secret in such profession for their safety! And Family should be well-prepared for any uncertainty they may have to face for nation's safety. This is the reason why whole lying to wife is not fitting well with me.

He is undercover agent. He HAS to LIE - Agreed, but to whom is always a subjective area. Imagine, if something worse happens tomorrow and he sacrifices his life, any idea on how miserable would Shalini and kids feel? His colleagues will find a replacement, but his family won't be able to find another Shiv to fit. Or if his wife is aware, she can ensure her kids' safety while supporting Shiv. Today's episode did make one thing clear - Shalini is no meek, sad housewife. She is fierce and could reply, so I don't think she would object to Shiv's mission.

It's a different story altogether that Shalini is also hiding it, that makes Shiv's hiding little less betrayal. But trust me at this point, she is sounding like better agent than shiv, who is going to two extremes to save his cover.

So, I am still low-key hoping that both married for their own different purposes like you mentioned earlier and are now bound to be togather for kids..

But this incident will be a turning point in many lives...starting from the guy to Parshuram to Shalini..everyone..even his kids..

And as you have said..since now his family would be involved, it would be a challenge to Shiv also how to maintain the cover and fight the villains.

As this inconsequential incident will lead to something big..very big

I have a question, on how closely is this remake following OG story? Is it exactly same? Like Episode to episode? Or do they have some changes in any element for Hindi version?

Someone on Twitter wrote that from here on Parshuram's main focus will only be saving his family and unveiling family secret and not really solving other crimes as per OG
