Sanket : "Hard to digest the decision of dropping Luke Wood for Overton. Yes England want to strengthent their batting but their bowling looks the main issue. Wood bowled really well especially with new ball and Archer was the real culprit there. If your batting is your strength then it should do the heavy lifting like score 10-15 runs par to give your bowler that cushion." Brook has a lot of faith in his spinners, so the extra oomph of Overton could be handy if the conditions prove conducive. If not, I guess they'll have cover, with Curran as well.

Shai Hope: We would have bowled first as well. But we have no problems setting a total. This is an important fixture for us and we are up for it. We have one change - Forde misses out and Roston Chase comes in.

Harry Brook: We are going to bowl. The stats favours the teams batting second, that's the reason. Sticking to the gameplan and the processess. Overton comes in for Wood. Just a little bit of extra batting.

Shai Hope: We would’ve bowled first as well, but now it’s about setting the tone with the bat. It can feel like a bit of a wrestling match when you play the same opposition regularly. You know what they’re capable of, and they know you too. It’s important that we bring our A game. This is a big fixture for us, and we’ll be ready. We have one change - Forde misses out and Roston Chase comes in. Just tactical - we felt his skill set would be a good counter, especially against their left-handers. He’s also a versatile option in the middle order and gives us flexibility at different stages of the game.

Harry Brook: We’re going to have a bowl. We’ve looked at the stats and they favour the team batting second, so we’d like to chase tonight. It’s all about staying calm, really - sticking to our processes and game plans. Hopefully, we can put in a good performance tonight. Jamie Overton comes in for Luke Wood. Just a bit of extra batting depth. There’s no issue or hardships for Luke - we’ve simply decided to go down that route tonight.

Jofra Archer to Shai Hope, out Caught by Tom Banton!! Archer strikes! Not a wicket-taking delivery but he won't be complaining. Hope is gone for a duck. This is a big wicket as the West Indies captain was one of the in-form batters. Short and ample amount width, Hope cracks the cut straight to cover-point, Banton didn't have to move and laps it safely.
