Yeah there are lot of possible ways they could show emotional conflicts of these two! I have full faith in Bengali writers. They put brains and are professional writers. They know when to reveal how much and present the emotional conflicts so clearly that you root for them.

I connect with Shalini more for now. Imagine her being a spy and having to live with shiv kind of a guy! Her expectations are of super hero and he cannot even raise his voice. 🤪😅. But she doesn’t know he is indeed a hero! Awwww. She fell in love with shiv so she gets frustrated and also melts at his innocent ways.

Parshuram also will try to make her happy once in a while because he loves her and wants to make her happy and in the process risks his cover. It will be so much fun to watch

I am expecting kids will be used left right and center to blow up his cover! Poor things had to get two spies as their parents. 😅

Episode # 7: Shalini's possessiveness 😂

Shiv, kids and Shalini are getting ready for Shiv ratri celebration. Balram delivers gifts to Shalini's parents. Shalini's mom calls her and asks if the gifts are really from Shiv. Shalini enquires with Shiv about gifting her parents. Shiv says he felt the need for sharing her responsibilities wrt her parents, so sent them Shiv ratri gifts. Meanwhile Shalini's dad throws the gifts and abuses Shiv for being classless and statureless

Hahaha.. Lataji, a lady from their chawl, comes to their home. She wants bhel patra for Shiv puja and keeps eyeing Shiv with surpanaka type intentiins. Shalini already knows her interest in Shiv. Her possessiveness for Shiv and jealousy is well depicted by Shambhavi. The dance was also fun to watch, specially Shiv's confused expressions and body language when Lataji and Shalini dance with him.

Balram meets Shalini's infamous kaka and reports the same to Parshuram. Shalini's family drama was as usual boring The lady assassin comes to shoot Parshuram but sees him dancing with his wife and children and becomes emotional and leaves from there. I am not sure if she was emotional about him being a family man or specifically about Shalini. To me it looked like she was shocked to see Shalini and became emotional 🧐🤔.. not sure.

All in all a fun episode today 💃🕺💯

Watched all 3 episodes together. I feel Shalini might be an undercover cop or spy. Right now both are unaware about each other's profession. Shalini's family are not what they seem and there's something shady about them. The other day Shalini's sister Nandini said something to her kaka like he would fall and he might take Shiv's hands for help. And, she even said she doesn't like to be with boozers. It looks like both Shalini and Nandini are not fond of the family.

Loved today's episode as well. Shambhavi was so good in her dancing and possessive expressions. Shivratri was done good.

Btw caught up with the promo. So finally family is affected. Their daughter gets abducted and Deshmukhs are terrified.

I was just thinking, that they are apparently copying OG Bengali show, and our theories and assumptions may just go waste. It's actually best to just enjoy the show till you like it.

I completely enjoyed the episode. Shambhavi is a good dancer, and so was that Lata actress. Both of the ladies were so much in sync, and of course, Neil is

My conclusion from the end seemed like that gun woman had some crush on Shiv, but was disappointed seeing him so happy with his family. Poor lady, lost a golden opportunity to do her job. I just hope we don't have Ghum Rerun for this

We will have four lady love for Shiv/Parshuram then:

1. Shalini
2. Lata
3. That gun woman
4. Mrs. Parshuram, whenever she enters the show. Hope it's soon!

One thing, I did not like: Kids' reaction. I mean, they really need to tone down kids in front of their parents. Which kid would say, mom is getting possessive about pa?

Writers kuch bhi likhte hai.

I wonder the if "mahila" behind babbar is Shalini? What are the chances?

@ bold - exactly.. no point in breaking our heads on an already existing plot line.. they may be following that and will only go that way. .

The valentine's promo - I hope they give us some small version of it atleast.. with Pihu getting kidnapped, context for the promo set ho sakta hai.. he can reveal that he is an officer undercover to Shalini.. may be after saving her, we get to see this

Shiv and Shalini, let’s assume are spies working for the country. Why do they care about anything else other than their job. One has to be deeply committed and passionate for their country or purpose to become spies in first place.

These people choose to marry someone who will hide them well. Shalini’s choice is straightforward. A middle house wife whose life revolve around kids and husband. And the husband has to be bholabhala with middle class mentality. And someone who her family might not like because the family might know something about her right?

Parshuram also marriage can be a good cover. He wants someone who doesn’t question him and who is ready to leave everything for him. Or someone from high strata who will give connections to him at high level. They both orchestrated their marriage not knowing the other did the same .

I don’t think they had love marriage. It is marriage with purpose. However they might have fallen in love eventually. They are leading normal conjugal life and produced two kids. The kids are emotional entanglements right? If they are fully duty bound and kids are also part of the cover then their life would be easy. They can wash off their hands and go back anytime. But the point is they love the kids to the core and each other also(kind of established yesterday) ! Shalini is shown to have huge expectations on shiv. Shiv has no expectations from her still and doesn’t care about her feelings with regards to her family… which makes me think he can always choose his job over his family.

Shalini seems more in love at this point, but that's obvious from presentation point of view of current scenario. Shiv is not just a husband, but his focus is divided towards his missions. Once they show Shalini's side (i.e. if she is indeed mrs. Parshurm), we may see those intensity/expectations reduce to make it more believable.

@Bold: That would actually be best twist, but I am going to keep my hopes low, given this is following it's Bengali counterpart for now. But I would be happy if they surprise viewers and bring in twist to highlight role of Mrs. Parshuram much earlier than 200th episode.
