The Tulsi and Noina scenes were kinda well written today.

Tulsi is still in love with Mihir but she’s obviously too hurt by the betrayal. Her pain and her love are both for her to deal with on her own, whether she chooses to display it or not for everyone. Though Mihir, the one who is the one person she doesn’t want to open up to at all, is ironically the one who sees through her. We saw in the precap Mihir opened his palm and showed Tulsi her kerchief in his hand and implied that he knew she was the one who placed it there. He has held onto it even now.

The other day too he was gauging her reactions and feelings for him. He knows he has hurt her immensely and he can’t ask for forgiveness perhaps even now, maybe never but he wants to know if there’s still hope for him and if he had his expectations high before, he’s absolutely ecstatic now surely. Tulsi wouldn’t leave him when he’s in trouble and needs her, not just because she’s a good person, but because she’s still in love with him and knows him better than anyone else in the world.

Noina’s tears, her fear and her panic were all genuine today, in her own twisted way she does love Mihir. Just like she’s openly able to proclaim her love for him, live with him, she could freely express herself and all her feelings today without any hesitation and have a breakdown. She could even seek solace and comfort in Tulsi, could think of working with her to aid Mihir’s recovery knowing that perhaps Tulsi’s the only one who understands her feelings right now.

But Noina doesn’t know Mihir like Tulsi does, not when it comes to details that can save his life like his blood group, his allergies, the medications he takes despite sharing the same roof as him for 6 years and nor his little quirks, his heart.

Noina loves him but she’s also selfish in her love… she never took the time to know him. Not as a person, not in any way. Had Tulsi not been around and Mihir had an accident, Noina would’ve been as good as useless when it comes to helping the doctors treat him to the best of their abilities without wasting time with tests for things like blood group analysis, blood sugar levels etc.

Distance hasn’t eroded the memories that have to hurt Tulsi; proximity hasn’t helped Noina create memories that can help Mihir.

Tulsi left SN as she felt violated and cheated when it comes to trust. Noina has settled in it but she’s still a woman who wants to force herself in. She could successfully enter the physical structure of the place that man inhabits with his family and share the roof of the man she wants but not his heart, his life and certainly not his desires.

Tulsi didn’t utter a word yet Mihir knows she still loves him even now, even after everything he’s put her through and made her suffer with one gesture and he’d gladly hold onto that if that’s all he can have of her.

Noina would proclaim her undying love, wear her heart on her sleeve and it’s as good as worthless as far as he’s concerned.

The heart wants what the heart wants…

Noina can truly love Mihir but her love is selfish to the extent that she’d rather he suffer so long as he is with her… and that’s why she would lose. Not just because she’s the other woman who has wrecked someone’s happy marriage and home to get her object of affection, but because she’s truly not understood that you can love someone who is unavailable to you, but you can’t make them love you back just by being available for them. Your availability will not make them want and love you; not as long as their heart doesn’t will it… and in this case, Mihir’s heart clearly isn’t willing nor ever will.
