Do they have any other show with similar camera movement. The whole family confrontation sequence reminded me of an era of "Kya Kya Kya?" We had during Ekta's original Kahani and Kyunki days. They use way too many transitions.

Shivprasad aka Secret Spy Parshuram is a much better ML character compared to other toxic ML characters shown on SP channel.To the outside world he's just a normal everyday man trying to make ends meet but in the outer world he's a secret agent dedicated to protect both the society and the country from anti social elements.

He's quite sloppy who left his cellphone open while fighting with those goons which is why his daughter Pihu could clearly hear the gunshot sounds from his silencer embedded weapon.Even in Shalini family's engagement ceremony he thought that he would make up for being late by doing a wild dance which unfortunately backfired on him.

Shalini was quite offended with Shiv's dumb dance performance and alleged that she felt humiliated in front of her family members.Shiv's in laws don't like Shiv due to his normal middle class background.

Shalini also defended her spy husband from her snobby friends and family too.As both a mother and wife despite being strict she wants the best for both her children and family.

Shalini's family thinks that their son in law is a joker bcoz Shiv wants to hide his secret and thus pretends to be a common man but fails comically bcoz his mind is not trained that much to balance the two contrasting personalities.

However he has so far managed to keep his spy secret hidden from his wife Shalini right from the college days itself.And there's a perfect logical reason to hide the same bcoz then his enemies would target not only his family which could put his mate Shalini and his children in the crosshairs but perhaps endanger the secrets of the organization too whom he's working for as an agent.

Honestly, I don't think I have seen many Hindi shows, last long term show I watched was Ghum, that too from Season 1 to Season 2's Savi's track. I ended after she became IAS and Rajat's era ended.

So, cannot compare him to any standards except Virat, Ishaan and Rajat, and also Vikrant from Mannat (but he is Colors) but yes, he is better than that lot (though I do have some liking for Rajat as Husband). However, I disagree with some poins here.

There is no logical explanation around hiding this for years from your love of your life. I believe Shalini is still very proud of Shiv for who he is and stands by him against his nasty family and also on basis of promo where she slaps eve teaser, she seems like a strong and practical woman; so, if he does tell her the truth, I strongly believe she wouldn't come in his way, rather be a support and stand by him. If they show he has done and she went bonkers, him hiding understandable!

There was a tweet I read that kind of explains why it is looks crazy. Let me look for that tweet and see how to post it on this platform.

If they show, that both know they are spies and are just in a family arrangement as someone mentioned here to just keep the cover, makes more sense; because apparently there has been no scene between only couple in the show. All scenes have been all four or kids looking at romance. So, maybe romance isn't real? It's just a cover for kids and everyone to know how normal their family is but in reality Shalini and Shiv are working together on cases. I have that feeling since show is called Mr. and Mrs. Parshuram and someone on Twitter mentioned that Mrs. Deshmukh as a way to address is an addition to original show, so probably they both are working as team and outside, she might be Mrs. Parshuram.

Contrasting personality is understandable, and if Shalini does turn out to be spy (without Shiv's knowledge), then she seems to have better handle over managing both the images.

I was laughing when promo came and Shiv was hum ek parivaar hain kuch nhi chhupate pls bata do.....Sambhavi is young par mere liye ok ok for role of mother...

Maybe such agents hide things from their wife too....it's illogical still kuch toh....I have seen such PPL from lower middle class but ye thora jyaada hi hai....It will become connectable with passing time as story progresses definitely they will make changes...

You're right, they use too much effect and camera movements to give those overdramatic effect. I am not fond of those, but whatever.

I am honestly loving Neil in this show! So, yeah actors are ot an issue. But Shiv's character really needs lot of development I feel. People from lower middle class are stingy for sure, but they are not as irresponsible.

Best suited was his reaction to the cost of perfume, and yes no people with that financial constraint will buy perfume worth 3500. I might still need time to get used to family side of the role, but Parshuram seems exciting!!!

@bold I too think the same. both are having covers. However, Shalini might be linked to criminal past. To come out of that muck, she married Shiv who is a common man. She might be trying to hide her past. Parshuram is hiding his profession. However, over years, they have grown to love each other and produced two kids out of their "union". whether there is love or purpose behind their union we dont know. :D That will be the conflict I guess.

If they blow up their covers, their marriage will end. They will not trust each other. Will shalini believe in Shiv's love that he had been showering. Will Parshuram protect her knowing her past? I think kids will be their weak points. Shalini might protect them from her past. But will Parshuram choose them over his country/duty, because the entire family setup is his cover ONLY. That will be the emotional conflict in this show.

One more thing I agree with you and also observed is how kids are intrigued by their parents' fights and romance :D. And they give this surprised look for both situations. May be it is show audience's mind as well who is seeing them through kids' lenses. . Is this all real? The girl seems to be smart and already impressing her dad with her intelligent questions.

I also think Neil got a very challenging role. It will be hard to convince TV audience to love him, if Shiv is just a facade. Complicated role and lot of expressions are needed to convey his emotional state. He rocked Virat so I am sure he will do his best here too. Till now I like his shades.

If the above mentioned detailed tweet and what you have written at the end comes true then we are all watching a TV version of the movie Mr. and Mrs.Smith here where both the husband and wife were spies/assassins without any children of course.

See right now nothing is clear at the moment though it was quite clear from today's episode that Shalini lied to her family about her phone being switched off and Shiv's suspicions regarding her injury mark on the right hand.

Shalini was clearly hiding something but whether its related to her being a Spy or Shiv's in laws criminal past bcoz in the next episode promo it was hinted that criminal named Babbar has some connection with Shiv's in laws bcoz the call was traced to his in laws residential address 15/2.

It could be possible that Shalini might be just an undercover cop also gathering evidence against her own criminal family this could explain why they were so rich bcoz she herself mentioned today that she chose Shivprasad despite coming from one of the city's elite families.

Or all of this Shalini being a spy or a cop might be just wild speculations and her reasons of hiding something from her kids and husband might be entirely different.

As far as we know Shalini manages all the housework herself and she doesn't have any job profile like her husband of being an insurance agent which can be used as some sort of a cover for her spying activities.

On the other hand bcoz of Babbar's connection to Shiv's in laws its gonna be a real test for Shiv now as to how he would apprehend the hidden criminal in his wife Shalini's elite family.

Shivprasad for all his drawbacks loves his wife Shalini very deeply and it might hurt him on the inside to act against his own wife's family.If he was a cop like in Ghum then he could have perhaps got a search warrant for investigation but here he's a spy not a cop.

Shiv has to act in a stealthy manner to uncover the real criminal in Shalini's family without hurting Shalini or his in laws.

Shalini's elite family doesn't like Shiv that much and the risk of apprehending that criminal might blow not only his spy cover but could tear his own family apart too bcoz Shiv has mentioned multiple times that he loves his own small family of a wife and 2 kinds pretty much.

Shalini won't believe Shiv's accusation then that easily.Also it could be possible that perhaps either due to unwillingness or willingly she might be an undercover accomplice in her elite family's illegal operations.

Today's episode is definitely worth watching. leads chemistry is established. The emotions hit the right chord. There is a good family sentiment and on top of that interesting plots which are keeping the intrigue. Writing is so taut and interesting. I hope TRP works in story's favor.

Yup. It took time but the show has established itself in 1st position in Bengal.

The couple moment in today's episode is an addition. Hopefully they add more such scenes to establish the romantic connection between the leads

Watched all episodes so far, the notorious camera handling is still here in this show, don't know what device is placed under the camera or why the scenes are unstable in one place forseems like a new PH so might need more time i guess to learn the lessons lolactions scenes are nice but par shiv mentioning about hiding stuff to shalini was but chuckling moment for me since he is hiding that he's a police officer while she is also hiding stuff and the injury proves the matter...FL needs do better acting as i find her annoying..sometimes the kids tend to overact too imo..
